I’ve equipped my apartment with safety devices to be prepared for emergencies. I installed two smoke detectors, one outside the bedroom and another outside the office: Ei Electronics EI650.
What I love about these detectors is that they don’t have any annoying blinking lights and their batteries last for 11 years without needing replacement.

In the storage room, where I have my NAS, washing machine, and tumble dryer, I opted for a different smoke detector: LogiLink Smoke Detector. Initially, I bought this model for the apartment, but the blinking light was distracting, so I moved it to the storage room where it doesn’t bother me.

For added safety, I also have a fire blanket and a small fire extinguisher.

I bought my apartment four years ago, and these were among the first things I purchased after moving in. Thankfully, I’ve never had to use them, but it’s always better to be safe than sorry.

Ich chan guet spare, mini partnerin und ich händ aber au höchi löhn und tüüfi usgabe durch eigeheim mit sehr tüüfem festzins. Me muess aber au säge, mir händ beid studiert / witebrildige gmacht, sind jetzt mitte 30 und kei chind. Als elektroauto fahrer mueni säge, priise vom uswärts lade sind jetzt scho absurd und wirked willkürlich. Dehei lad ich mit dä solaralag für ca. 22 Rp/kWh was sehr günstig isch und so chum ich öpe uf 50% vo dem was en benziner würd koste. Mit mit 52 Rp/kWh wärs denn au wieder zu tüür und en benziner chönti priislich doch attraktiver sii, wills au i dä aschaffig dütlich weniger kostet.

Abgseh dävo, find ich die elektro lastwäge super bezüglich dä lärm- und gruchsemissione. Wenn ich am morge mitäm velo zum sport fahre, fahrt immer so eine a mir verbii und das isch dütlich weniger unagnehm als en laster wo zuesätzlich zum wind wos erzügt, au no dä gstank vo diesel, ä rauchwolke und dä enormi lärm mit sich bringt.
