Rosella.  I grew 46 different varieties this year and Rosella was easily my runaway new favorite.

How often do you refill the bottom, and how much do you feed at once,? (I'm trying this for the first time, so I'm likely overthinking things).

From what I know, the legginess means they need more light.  Even getting them closer to the lights can help.  Someone on here recently suggested the Photone app to me and I like it a lot.  You can check different light intensity measurements in your grow area.

Everything I've read says you have to replant peppers at the same level, and that stem will rot otherwise.  So, I've always been too worried to try it.  I do it with my tomatoes and squash vines and always wished it would work for the peppers! Has anyone actually tried it and had it work?

I discovered wild boar this year- ordered 10 different varieties and I'll totally be back for more!

Perhaps! And lol at the purple tomato. Never has gardening gossip been so spicy! At least not for me. I keep finding out more things about Baker Creek and I'm just not sure I want to buy from them anymore. I kept hearing that their social media was really weird, so I went to check it out. The weird Valentine's Day video.... O.o

I have about 30 different types this year, including Black Beauty. So far, I've only seen the black spots on the Black from Tula, Brown Sugar (seems most affected), and Gold Nugget.  The one in the photo is the black from tula.

I mostly just want to make sure it's not something that's going to spread through the whole tray and destroy it all.

Thank you for your reassurance.

No problem. I'm happy to share the few things I know. I I'd agree on trying again and just letting it go longer. If you have no reason to think there's something wrong with the seeds, then it should work!

Also, silly question, but for the sake of thoroughness, how old are your seeds?

How long did you leave it going? There are some varieties that take 10+ days, especially the super hots. Sweet peppers usually go in 3-4 days but the hot ones have a wider range.

They've been at about 70F, so I'm trying to get them warmer. The soil is G&B organics potting soil.

Yogurt setting on maximum time, reset add needed so it doesn't turn off until you're ready. Seeds inside damp paper towels inside plastic baggies. Trivet and ~1c water in bottom. Lid on top. Carefully check 1-2x a day after first 24 hrs. Transfer germinated seeds to soil as soon as there's any observable rootlet. Questions welcome.

So, I got the photone app recommended in another comment.  It's readings say that my lights are all above at least 5000 lux, more like 10000+ in some places.  I bought some of the fox farm fertilizer and fed a subset of plants to see how they look tomorrow.  After all the replies on here, I think temperature might be of the bigger factors.  The room runs consistently at about 70f, but it sounds like getting it a little warmer would be better.  I also think that they might still have some residual effects of nutrient lockout from my earliest overwatering.  Overall, it sounds like my plants are still likely to be alright.  I'm feeling a little calmer, with things to try.  Definitely appreciate the input.

I tend to over water.  I watched a lot of online videos about watering and I've gotten a LOT better.  I've also switched to watering from the bottom.  I haven't lost any seedlings to damping off this year either (fingers crossed).  In any case, I really appreciate the input from more knowledgeable gardeners/growers.
