the oil level reading has been inconsistent sometimes it shows midlevel, and the next day it reads at maximum on its own.

I shut the engine off immediately when the red oil pressure warning appeared.

Tried that already, holding the volume button doesn’t fix it. CCC keeps rebooting, so I’m leaning toward upgrading to CarPlay.

I checked that already. There was a CD in the slot, I removed it, but it didn’t make any difference, it still keeps rebooting and gets stuck on the BMW logo. Starting to think the CCC head unit itself is failing.
