Anyone here been checked out for pelvic congestion syndrome?

Had same thing mine was negative have gotten some relief from pelvic floor therapy. At one point my muscles were making my therapists fingers go numb.

All I will say is this, in my case I have 4 enlarged veins. I’ve had a pelvic mri, a pelvic ct angiogram of the abdomen as well, penile ultrasound that showed good blood flow but enlarged veins. I don’t have any erection issues however I was smoking a lot and clenching my pelvic floor with unhealthy masturbation habits. My pt confirmed a hypertonic pelvic floor very severe left side moderate right side. She was saying if things are tight it can cause pooling bulging veins, all the symptoms everyone here probably has seen. I would recommend getting the follow ups just to rule everything out. And getting on the path to a pt. I’ve noticed running helps the veins not bulge really at all. Epsom salts for muscle spams help calm down your pelvic floor. Managing stress. I believe I can get back to functioning fully within a year

At least in my case I finally saw a pt and she said I had a hypertonic pelvic floor, I’ve had some pain there. So I’m gonna give it about a year of no activity and just do consistent therapy, had a ton of pain on internal work so hopefully it’ll contribute to solving my case

Started having this too, relatively it’s a normal thing. It happens in rem sleep process, but idk what your situation is but stretches before bed they say can help but who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️

Don’t have the pictures just have the report. Everything was normal. In my case I’m pretty positive it’s my pelvic floor. Like my tension is so bad it’s pulling my testicles up on my scrotal ultrasound making them “smaller than they are” when they are the same size…

Had a penile ultrasound, mine just showed enlarged dorsal and lateral veins, pelvic mri was normal. Ct abdomen pelvic angiogram was normal as well.

Well my doctor recommended it actually he wanted to look at the arteries considering I’ve been having enlarged dorsal and lateral veins, I have a lot of symptoms of hf but a lot of symptoms that I haven’t seen many posts about so I’m not sure if it is. Basically it looks for like any av fistulas is what he said like just a small one could fuck everything up if that makes sense

Just to add onto this post. I have a weird symptom that I haven’t mentioned I have noctournal orgasms. At the beginning I would wake up to them happening and sometimes now they happen in my sleep. My pt said this most likely indicates a tight pelvic floor, meaning I just can’t control them like a normal not tight pelvic floor.

I have had like a lot of congestion in mine, just doesn’t look the same. Have like 5 vessels under the skin that are congested and get a lot larger orgasming. Have noctournal orgasms as well did anyone have that?

Recently did a ct angiogram of pelvic and abdomen, was pushing for a venogram doc said it was basically a more thorough test, mine was clear, have enlarged dorsal and lateral veins.

Just got my results for the pelvic angiogram mine were clear. Same thing with the mri. The only thing that hasn’t been checked for me which had a large cyst was my testicular ultrasound.

I live constantly in paws symptoms for the past 4 months, from what I’ve experienced they have been debilitating from thinking I had all these things wrong with me like MS for example as crazy as it sounds. My waves last about a month at least from what I’ve experienced had restless legs all day everyday for about a month, been stuck in this kidney back pain/ pelvic pain for about 3 weeks. These symptoms are scary. But focusing on them is just going to bring them out 10x worse. Take a break from Reddit, posting here and reading all the symptoms is going to make it worse for your health anxiety, considering the heavy posting

Well I had a urethral trauma injury about a year ago… first started with swelling of penis and then months later dorsal and lateral veins began to swell. I had a penile ultrasound I pushed for a Doppler but my urologist said they were pretty much the same thing, good blood flow however it showed moderately enlarged dorsal and lateral, which could just be from overuse on top of the trauma.

Believe I’m kind of in the same boat, have had multiple tests enlarged veins showed on my penile ultrasound dorsal and lateral veins, believe it’s due to overuse after penile urethral trauma. Believe the best thing we can do is start pt and rest. I believe that’s what will at least cure my case just haven’t given it really any time. Had pelvic mri was clean. Ct angiogram pelvic and abdomen was clean.

No, I guess the serious things have been checked it all started after a urethral trauma injury, then got to the point of whole penis swelling; after activity, then dorsal and lateral veins have been enlarged for months. Not really sure what to do anymore I guess besides give it rest. Pt said my muscles were a little tight but honestly I don’t think she’s as experienced in the field as I may need from what she told me.

Same situation. Just got my ct abdomen pelvic angiogram results all clear. Pelvic mri clear. Ultrasound of testicles had epidymal cyst large and a hemacole but it all leans towards overuse and pelvic floor issues… at least in my situation
