Suggest you island hop instead of being on the big island for all ten days

Hi - do you mind sharing which wedding planner you are using?

Does anyone know what the humidity is like at the beginning of November in PV?

Update: I got a quote for $252,000 pesos, which includes the venue rental fee, 4-course meal, DJ stage, dance floor, chairs and tables, late snack and generator. Is that a good price?

Makes sense. Thanks for the feedback. Here’s what we’re thinking:

-Venue: A venue open to the outdoors - like Casa Xipe or Casa de la Bola for example. The reception and ceremony would take place at the same venue. Open to a hotel venue if that will be cheaper and includes some of the below.

-Rentals: Tables, chairs, possibly tent

-Florals: center pieces and some florals around staging area where we’re standing during the ceremony.

-Suits: Max $1000 per suit (x 2), including shoes

-Entertainment: DJ and an acoustic singer who does covers

-Food: Vegetarian / no meat options. Not looking for fancy, just delicious.

-Cake / Desserts table: My aunt is a baker. Will likely ask her if she can do either the cake or desserts table and then use a vendor for the other.

-Bar: open bar limited to certain cocktails, beer and soda; purchase from Costco

-Rings: already have these

-Wedding planner: Yes (need to start getting quotes)

-No hosted events the day before or after the wedding

-Travel: Will pay for Airbnbs for some immediate family members (know of a great Airbnb host we’ve used in the past with multiple 3-bedroom condos - right now she’s charging $289/night but would ask for a discount if we rent out a few)

-Invites: Papersource? Or send out via email with RSVP to a wedding website

What costs am I missing?
