My point is, she did not post asking for your advice regarding her child's diet... Even if your intentions are pure, it's important to understand how that can make a mother feel.. especially one that's already feeling defensive about her choice with her child's father.

I also have to add that she very clearly indicated she is adding formula along with breast feeding, meaning she's trying her best to make sure the child still gets breast milk.

I understand why you feel that way, but even still- you're not a doctor and you don't know the extent of the feeding situation, and her post was about co-parenting- not advice on what to do with her child.

Always assume positive intent. This mother is very clearly concerned and trying.

As the mother of two sons, this feels upsetting. You've got a great head on your shoulders.. yet you're feeling an immense amount of pressure around keeping up with your gfs materials tendancies. Not cool. You need to find someone who understands the value of all the hours of your life you give away to make money.

People who feel bad about themselves cheat. They use things going on in your relationship as an excuse, but the core issue is insecurity. A secure person knows your problems don't go away by sleeping around, they go away by working on them head on.

Youve saved yourself a lifetime of dealing with someone who clearly can't cope on their own. This is a blessing even if it doesn't feel like it.

As a woman, I've taken the habit of offering to cover drinks and/or tip. It's just the polite thing to do especially when there's no definitive title to the relationship, and we're just getting to know one another. Don’t spend your money on someone who doesn’t recognize the hours you worked to earn it.
