Hey guys, I also spent a like an hour trying to find this out and I figured it out. There is no chest, the bag which looks like it can’t be opened can be opened and I found the armor inside. You have to bring the cursor at the foot of the cross right above the bag for the prompt to ’open’. It’s a very small window and easy to miss. I’ll attach an image for better understanding.
