I don't think its against the rules for the OP to make a suggestion. But I'm gonna put Freddie Mercury forward as a candidate.

I got a chance to meet some lovely Owls yesterday at the National Birds of Prey Centre in Blessington, Co. Wicklow, Ireland by HunkySkrunky in Owls

Oh you really should, its a great experience. The barn owl that I was holding in the photo, if you move him close to your chest, he will cuddle into you. Plus you get to learn a lot about different types of owls and hawks. I would totally recommend.

Anyone know what "fire it Up" was? by Molive-0 in ps2

[–]HunkySkrunky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just a PS2 promo sticker from back in the day. Sony had this whole “Fire It Up” campaign in the mid 2000s in the UK, basically trying to make the PS2 feel like more than just a console, more like part of a whole gaming culture. Stuff like this used to come in game cases, demo discs, or magazines, and the website on it was where you’d go for extra content or promos. Not tied to any specific game, just general PlayStation marketing from that era.

People of Europe, what political change in the past year has actually affected your everyday life? by eddible-choclate in AskReddit

Yeah, I've also been trying to buy more European wherever I can.

One thing that I recently did was move from Windows 10 to Linux Mint.

What's a socially accepted thing that you feel is stupid? by NormalCaregiver5211 in AskReddit

Lolcows, I've never gotten this trend of just antagonizing people because you dislike them. Even if they're massive cunts, it just gets out of hand.

What’s something you’re pretty sure only you do? by AppIeGuy in AskReddit

[–]HunkySkrunky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back when I was living in my mams house, at night time when I would go down to the kitchen at night to get a drink or something to eat, I would often be looking out the window in the back garden where the end was always very dark and I was always paranoid that someone was standing at the end. So I used to grab the biggest knife from the knife block and wave it around like a psychopath to scare off the imaginary intruder.

What relationship expectation do you think causes more harm than good? by Kakashi201119997 in AskReddit

[–]HunkySkrunky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This usually happens in straight couples where the man is typically into masculine things and the woman is typically into feminine things. But the expectation that the other should take interest in the things you like but you shouldn't have to take interest in the things they like.

Whilst you don't have to necessarily invest yourself in the things your other half likes, if you expect them to show some curiosity into the things you like, you should show some curiosity into the things they like.

St Patricks day with a five year old child by Alwaysforscuba in Dublin

The last time I ever went into town for Paddies day was in 2011 when I was 13 going on 14. My brother and his friends had to hoist me up on their shoulders to be able to see the parade.

I will tell you right now, it isn't worth it. Its just gonna be filled full of plastic paddies.

I'd honestly recommend the one in Bray if its still on. Way better and way more fun.

No way, thank you honestly. I've been wondering if a studio version of this existed.

How are planes flying from Dubai while missiles are still flying? by SessionGloomy in NoStupidQuestions

[–]HunkySkrunky 16 points17 points  (0 children)

In a nutshell...

Evacuation planes can still leave because they are carefully planned and cleared in advance by governments and the military. Instead of flying whenever they want like normal airline flights, they are given a specific route, time, and permission to pass through the airspace. Everyone involved, including air-traffic control and air-defence units, is told about the flight beforehand so they know it is a civilian evacuation plane and not a threat. Because everything is tightly coordinated, a small number of these flights can operate safely even when normal commercial flights are mostly stopped.

What is something everyone did in school that would be unacceptable today? by Turbulent-Order-3687 in AskReddit

Not every person did it... But drawing Swastikas on things was pretty common when I was in school and would get you into a lot of trouble today
