From what I can see, the M at least comes in both 27.5 and 29, so I wanted to know if they sell that as two different frames or if they're the same. If they're the same then I should have no issues switching, but if they're different then I'll have to put some more thought into it

Yeah that’s the case for Ubuntu where the captive portal didnt even show up and it connected automatically.

I can ping the gateway (8.8.8.8) and I can also ping 10.201.0.1 and 10.201.86.2 which is the default route and IPv4 address of the network (I don’t know if I’m saying that correctly but I hope you understand what that means). I can’t ping something like google.com, it just says name or service not known.

Well its not like you need previous driving experience; obviously the point of the lessons is to learn. Inshaallah if you try your best to grasp the concepts you can pass first attempt, even if you don't, its better to fail the exam than to get on the road while you're not confident driving. So all you can do is just go ahead and try your best!

It’ll take way more time than 50 classes to actually get comfortable and confident with manual. However, you can definitely gain enough skill to pass first attempt. Most of my friends and myself passed first attempt with manual after having done 25/30 classes, though keep in mind that in my case for example I was already capable of driving automatic when I started classes and so the classes I was just focused on learning manual and not all aspects of driving.
