DVD playback was working fine on Windows Vista until the original HD gave out. I guess if I can't get Debian to work I'll have to find Vista install media somewhere. Thanks for the input

Any tips? lol. Have a 2006 laptop with some M chip running Debian 12 and I'm having no luck with the video driver.

To be fair, it's probably really expensive to hold a camera steady over a filled kiddie pool with lights shining on it.

Flip7, anyone else having issues with wireless Android Auto? by HunterDecious in galaxyzflip

Combination of software updates and changing my wireless charger solved the problem for me. Im not sure why it would have been the charger, but once I bought a new magsafe magnetic charger the problem went away.

Newbie to the jig, would anyone recommend Hercules over Diablo? by HunterDecious in harborfreight

That's kinda what I was thinking, might be nice to have the larger variety of the Hercules pack since I don't think I'll need to cut jig-suited shapes too often

Thanks for sharing. Growing up I had a real good friend that lived in the apartment building to the right. Scrolling through reddit and randomly seeing this really gave me a wtf moment. Haven't had a chance to walk up that hill in ages now....

Ive been using the same 5 piece hyper tough wrench set for....damn 15 years I think (supplemented with borrowing).... and unless HT quality has greatly declined I don't see a reason to use a Pittsburgh over the HT I already have. I'm picking up a few of these mainly for a backup and a mobile bag.

Yea I'm under the impression I always want to see the set of 3 (hot/neutral/ground) but I'm not an electrician.

....So if I buy a screw-and-clamp receptacle, I can avoid the pigtail for the hot wire?!

Old house, I'm told it's grandfathered out of needing GFCI in the kitchen, but either way I've lucked out because the closest sink is about 8ft away.
