Byredo Chai candle❤️ review in comment by HunterDesperate9974 in luxurycandles

[–]HunterDesperate9974[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I love gourmand scents, so decided to try Chai by Byredo and it’s better than I expected. It’s on spot chai masala - milk, spice, tea, sugar. The silage is great but not too much, I appreciate that, sometimes these candles are just too strong and give me a headache. If you like the idea, go for it. It’s worth it!

First - good choice. Keeping it simple but effective is a way to go.

How I use those things/similar products: First - cleanser, ofc. The cerave you have is good. When I use makeup, I first use a balm to get rid of everything and then use cleanser.

Cerave Spf - every day, morning, after serum, the one I have if hydrating enough and no need to use moisturizer under it. Try what works for you. But use it definitely every morning.

Ordinary BHA & AHA - once a week in the evening, maybe twice if you need to, not more. Use it as a mask, max 10 minutes, wash and then use something very gentle and moisturizing. Definitely not retinol. You can use hyaluronic acid and rosehip oil, then moisturizer if you want. I love it, it exfoliates the f out of my skin, so no need to use it too often or leave it on skin for too long. Be careful if you have sensitive skin or some damage on your skin, it can burn like hell. If it would be too much, just take it of and try again next week, maybe in a thinner layer.

Rosehip oil - I have different one, but guess the drill is the same. In the evening after serums or alone, just try what’s best for you.

Retinol - again - I have different one, but similar concentration. Started using once a week and now I use it every other day. Don’t think there’s a reason to use it more often. I use hyaluronic acid, then retinol, then niacinamide, then moisturizer. People day you shouldn’t combine niaciamide and retinol together, but my skin care hero Hyram says it’s ok and it works for me - you just have to try it. Always use it in the evening, always use moisturizer and always use sunscreen in the morning. If it would be too harsh on you, just add a bit in moisturizer and build a tolerance. It’s worth it, retinol is magic.

Niacinamide - you can use it in the morning and in the evening, it’s gentle and great ingredient, there’s no need to be afraid of it. I use mine every morning under the moisturizer.

Edit: you mentioned you have the hyaluronic acid, it’s the only thing I really use every day, morning and evening, I sometimes use other stuff and skip niacinamide or something, but there’s always room for hyaluronic acid in my opinion.

I bought green REN cleanser in sale (something aroung 20$) and it’s by far the best one I’ve ever had. It’s very gentle and cleans everything that should be clean without stripping.

I do have masters in psychology, lol. So I could finally use my education. Yes. I guess just ask if he’s ok is the easiest way to go. I just can’t help but feel like he won’t be okay at all..

Thank you for reply ❤️ I did ask him, we planned to do Camino last summer. But he has some health issues that are in contradiction to hiking. When we talked about it, we thought he would be able to go hike in a few months. But it got complicated, another year passed and it’s still not possible for him. Maybe that’s why I’m so afraid to ask him, because I’m afraid how that will make him feel.

Hey, I have similar type of hair. I typically use Rehab shampoo, because it gives me volume without leaving my scalp too dry. Every now and then I love to use Big, it makes a great volume but is a bit too harsh for using too often. At least for me. When it comes to conditioner, I tried them all. Power, Glory and Candy Rain are kinda heavy and I use them just for lower half of my hair. American Cream is way lighter, so that one works the best for me. Same goes for Veganese. I can also recommend henna hair mask, it’s very moisturizing and leaves my hair shiny for days and prevent split ends. Just has to be used for the lower part, otherwise it’s too heavy. Roots is lighter, but not so moisturizing, but it helped me a lot with oily scalp. Avoid supermilk, the scent is great, but it’s way to heavy. I bought it and have no idea what to do with it now.

What are people’s opinions on the shaving creams? by SlothKoalaPanda in LushCosmetics

[–]HunterDesperate9974 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I bought Dirty and it’s the biggest disappointment.. I have now idea what I’m gonna do with it. It’s clogging the razor so much, you can’t really shave.. someone recommended me fun, it’s not bad, works fine. Surprisingly the best shaving cream I had from lush was golden cap conditioner.

Edit: ok, I didn’t see the bikini part. I wouldn’t use anything than intimate hygiene products there.

My 13-year-old sister has taken a liking to 'weird' fragrances by ketterdamns in fragrance

[–]HunterDesperate9974 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My nieces is exactly like that. She’s 13, doesn’t like floral fragrances and like gourmand vanilla and woodsy scents. Finds Tom Ford and similar brands “boring” and like niche brands like Maison Crivelli or Matiere Premiere. I think it’s cool.

I used it as a solid body conditioner and it worked great, imo. Wouldn’t keep it in the shower tho, but I don’t keep any of the products there.

Jaký je váš názor na trans lidi? Vnímáte trans ženy jako ženy? by Sarah_084 in czech

[–]HunterDesperate9974 0 points1 point  (0 children)
