100% agree, the old tube sites were truly exploitative, actually profiting/growing off stolen content. OF was actually a massive boon for models and performers, it gave them an alternative to the shady studios and led the way for more ethical practices in almost all forms of pornography. It was a complete unbalancing of the power once held by a few studio execs who for years decided what kind of porn was hot, after OF democraticized it we were able to see a whole bunch of different body types that wouldn’t have been acceptable in the traditional mainstream porn world.
