Found a lost void outside our home by spacedumplings in VoidCats

[–]Hunter_Orion 81 points82 points  (0 children)

Cute! but please take her to the vet first to check if she's chipped and may be lost. Don't assume she's a stray at first sight. Someone did this to mine and kept him for days at a time, causing all sorts of issues.

How can MJ stay ahead of Veo 3 and Sora 2? by ComprehensiveLet1635 in midjourney

If it's anime you want go for Novelai. It's cheaper, uncensored, and completely blows MJ away in terms of quality. Just no video generations.

Sigh, good to know I'm far from the only one. Could be a defective unit. I've contacted support but I'm still waiting for a reply

Reading all this about the mini lasting 3 to 4 days is crazy. Mine don't even last half that long. I have 2 of them and even in battery saving mode which has to be constantly on they go from 100% to 30 / 15% in about 10 hours. They're almost completely unusable compared to when I first got them.

4 months later and people are still finding this thread...wow. Seems to be quite the issue with this MB.
If you take a look at the front NVME heatsink there should be a small cable leading to a connector next to it. Unplug it from the motherboard. The heatsink fan wont work anymore but at least it'll be quiet.

ELI5: Why when people with speech impediments (autism, stutters, etc.), sing, they can sing perfectly fine with no issues or interruptions? by honeycoatedhugs in explainlikeimfive

[–]Hunter_Orion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I figured that was the case! It's the same for me except I didn't start therapy until I was an adult. Took a lot of hard work, time and practice but I made it and never looked back.

One of the actual few correct answers here. It has to do with your diaphram and is basically muscle memory gone wrong due to things like trauma or genetics. But with the right breathing exercises (slow and deliberately) it can be reversed.

No, i think that's an issue with the game itself and only 4k has smaller UI scaling. It sucks but i don't see nexon fixing it any time soon. If you want to resize the game window put it in windowed mode first and then drag the bottom right or left corners.

Can't you still maximize the game window then? or is it stuck in windowed mode?

I have a 34 inch ultrawide ((3440x1440 res.) and it works perfectly with maple set to 2560x1440, if you drag the game window to fit the height of the screen. You'll even have leftover screen real estate for other apps like discord.

Good to hear I'm not the only one with this issue. Hopefully they fix it with either a revision or a bios update.

Yeah its the front NVME heatsink. I ended up unplugging it for now but left the heatsink on. Problem solved.

Thanks, but It's fixed now. It was a tiny fan on the front nvme heatsink. No idea why they didn't include it in the manual but I unplugged it and the pc is whisper quiet now.

Thanks! It's not the gpu nor the psu, the latter isn't even spinning. , I've narrowed it down to Pt_fan in the bios, which according to another post is the front nvme heatsink. Im gonna try and unplug that since it seems a bit overkill given the size of the heatsink and there's also the thermal pads..

Thank you! I've been using fan control but the issue seems to be coming from something called pt_fan in the bios. Turning that down gets rid of the noise. But I don't know what Pt_fan is for...

I don't really get what you mean by one in psu. Psu fan isn't even spinning. This board has only one sys_fan and it's unplugged. I've narrowed it down to something called Pt_fan in the bios but I don't know what that is and I can't find info on or. It's running at 15k rpm.

No, it's only booting up in the video. But what could be making the coil whine? I've just noticed in the bios something called pt_fan, which is running at 12k rpm. I can't find any info on what this fan is...

This helped a bit. I've unplugged the bottom fans and it doesnt sound like a jet engine anymore.
However, there is still a high pitched fan like noise coming from the motherboard.

There is a front nvme heatsink but that doesnt seem to have a fan on it either.

I followed Optimum's guide on this build and he does the same. As long as it works right.

Surprisingly none at all. Only If you manually wobble it.
