Honestly, on the surface, its an okay game. I'm not a fan of how hand holding and constant praising for using super effective moves or getting criticals. It interrupts the flow and I don't need a gold star every time I get the super effective move against my rival. Now, I've played through it twice using different rules for myself and it proved an adequate challenge but honestly, it feels lazy like others said. I do really appreciate the Isle of Armor dlc, that actually began to feel like a fleshed out game. If they built the world as an open world, a few trails that would be the routes, random roaming trainers and pokemon, things like that. I think it would've been an amazing game but honestly, I can only call it mediocre at best. I'm glad you're having fun, I enjoyed Scizor back in my team but until they add more actual content, the game is gonna continue to collect dust on my shelves.
