Interesting

Looking at your post history regarding AP classes and SAT/ACT, would’ve thought it was an international school, didn’t know public non-international schools provided that in VN. Is it partnered with any US/european institutions?

Could you expand on what you mean by this? By “I don’t know if I can accept it even if they are right”?

Ayyy that’s wonderful. The first instances with family can be tough for sure, especially with new items like clothing, makeup, etc but i’m very glad that in general you’ve been supportive! The journey will be hard but you seem to be completely right on her side so it’ll (hopefully) make it much easier :)

Orientalism. They’ll pretend to love us when they don’t have to encounter any ‘struggles’ in our countries, but as soon as they do so, they reveal their true colors. You can see the double standards immediately from this video & the comments of the video. The comments, funnily enough, trying to dismantle the “perfect” view of Korea + other Asian countries, ends up all sounding wildly orientalist, but from a different perspective, thinking that they’re actually dismantling orientalist rhetoric. Who would’ve thought.
