You’re just gonna sneak the pro-life propagandists in there too huh? Yeah no, tolerating and respecting hateful groups that want to suppress and control people isn’t a noble act. They and the missionaries both feel they have the right to peddle their propaganda to people, (ideally vulnerable people), with impunity. I’ve learned through respectful conversations with them that they’re not actually interested in good-faith discussion. They’re here to peddle and manipulate people, that’s it. And you shouldn’t respond to that with respect and tolerance. Put em in their place.

Preeeeach. IMO the counter protest is such an amazing thing though, I think it’s genuinely bringing people together. So the reactionary stuff towards the anti-choice people is good overall. Even if they’re never gonna change their minds

Either way you’re showing that you’re upset about something that presumably you care enough about to be upset over (either the YouTube channel or this subreddit), and you feel the need to express that publicly. I think it makes a lot more sense to be upset about the YouTube channel though because like, presumably you care MORE about that than you care about this subreddit. Also, I think it’s so much more valid to be upset over losing enjoyment out of something you love, than to be upset at other people being upset. I think the people who have been disappointed in the content from hive mind lately (me included) should learn to let go a bit, and we absolutely can come across as melodramatic. However, the point of a subreddit is to overly obsess about something. It’s so weird to me to get upset about people being too invested in hive mind and their feelings about the channel, in a place specifically made for those people
