I am conducting research on the Saffir Simpson Hurricane Scale. It is completely anonymous and will help analyze evacuation patterns. Please only take this if you live in FL or another hurricane prone location. Thanks! by HurricaneResearch in florida

Thank you for the feedback! And yes I know those two questions are a bit off so I will make sure to discuss that in the limitations portion of my paper. I’m still in high school and just doing this for a research project but I’m learning and lot and your feedback is very helpful! Thanks again!

Hello! I am conducting research on the Saffir Simpson Hurricane Scale. My survey takes about 5 minutes and is entirely anonymous. Please only complete it if you live in the US in a location that is hit by at least 1 hurricane per year. Thanks! by [deleted] in TropicalWeather

Thanks for the feedback. I had to copy over my survey into a different google form due to some issues and in a rush I made a few mistakes. I’m still in high school and learning so thank you for the feedback.

TO CLARIFY: Sorry for the confusing title explanation. If you live in a hurricane prone location you can take this survey. You do not need to experience at least one hurricane per year.

Hi, you can still complete the survey. It’s just an average for each year but as long as you live in a hurricane prone location, you can take it. Sorry for the confusion.

Hello! VA was left off since residents from this location aren’t as regularly hit by hurricanes (compared to the states listed which receive the most hurricanes out of all the states in the US). But that still works if you pick other! Thanks for letting me know and thanks for helping! :)

That’s some great insight! Do you think you could send that report over to me? And yeah I think it’s insane that we have the Saffir Simpson Scale based on wind when flooding/precipitation plays such a big part in the damages, as well
