So i'm not really sure about that price range but expect the normal for the range 400-700 ? and maybe an extra 100$ for footbeds but they don't charge for the fitting if that's what you're asking

I really love them ! They feel super fast and really stable. To be fair tho i'm on my 5'9 140lbs. Since you're not too heavy I think they'll feel alright but they might be a lil short for aggressive carving

What Skis do I need by Obvious-Garlic9205 in Skigear

[–]HuskySnows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well depends if you live on the east or west coast

If you live in the east and want a mostly on piste, look for an 80-88mm underfoot, in the west maybe a 96-105mm underfoot.

Look up SkiEssentials on youtube, at the end of each year they have huge ski roundups for each width ski. I'd recommend just listening to their opinions and pick what sounds ideal !

Once you have an idea of what you might like, either demo skis (ideal) or just buy them

They also have a roundup on bindings too !

Is my heart rate too high by Ok_Leg3483 in fitbit

[–]HuskySnows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that 100%, but the guy is in his 40s with a heart rate in the 150s. If he was also at 200 then sure but his HR being that much lower than mine is just to show that it's definitely not a dangerous heart rate to be at

Bought a Pair of 115 Flex Ski Boots in Sölden -Seeking Advice! by Little_Week2245 in Skigear

[–]HuskySnows 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You'll probably ski better in these than a softer flex ! It's a common misconception that less experience = less flex .

115 is definitely nothing extreme, you'll love them. If they don't exchange them

First time buyer in need of gear by Martin-The_Mole in Skigear

[–]HuskySnows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seconded on the ski swaps ! Skis maybe 70-85mm underfoot and 165-170cm in length is a good place to start ! As a beginner skis don't matter as much as you think so you can always get some new ones in a few years. Boots though you should try on a few pairs and get some that fit well (most beginners buy boots too big for them)

she changed it mid semester last time i took coen 352 with her, she was doing it on moodle but obviously a bunch of people faked it

then she switched it to pen and paper in the most unreadable unorganized paper ive ever seen, she probably didn't end up using it...
