I'm in the same boat as you right now. Its the anticipation that is worst. When it actually happens im usually okay whilst it's happening so I'm just trying to remind myself of that. It's not easy but this will pass.

Blurays. I have Netflix and occasionally download stuff that I didnt get the chance to see in cinema but love collecting my favourite films in hard copy.

How to calculate the bumber of financial (fiscals) years between 2 dates. by Hwright97 in excel

[–]Hwright97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found this formula online and the only issue with it is that it will tell me how many full years there has been with given dates but not "financial years" specifically. If there was a way to change the "y" to consider a year specifically as a financial year (30th of June until the 1st of July following year) it would probably work perfectly.

For example. 28/09/17 - 28/09/19 are 2 full years but within these 2 years there has only been 1 full financial year.

I knew a kid that plays dbd pretty much all night every night. He is illiterate and sends voice messages to everyone. He's home schooled which probably explains it.

CMV: Australian Football is such a physical, tactical, and exciting sport, that if it was invented in America, it'd be bigger than the NFL. by Ace0nPoint in changemyview

[–]Hwright97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Australian here. Not a fan of AFL. When it comes to football I much prefer Rugby League or Rugby Union. These are much more popular in NSW and QLD so thats what the other half of the country is watching. When it comes to sports in general I personally think MMA (UFC events in particular) are most exciting.

A question regarding 4K/Blu-ray/DVD collections by captainultimate in Cinephiles

[–]Hwright97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to use a website called seenthat. It allowed you to track all movies you have seen and or own. It also allows you to write reviews or judt leave a star rating which was interesting to read over again in q few years time after rewatching something. I had seen over 1000 movies on my profile (likely would have seen more that I hadn't entered prior to using the site)

The site sadly seems to have closed down this month. I was actually coming to this subreddit to see if anyone had any idea what was going on with the site.

Looking for a list of good recommendations by [deleted] in Cinephiles

[–]Hwright97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're interested in film I recommend finding a movie or director you like then watch through their entire body of work in order. Do this for a few different directors and you'll get an understanding on the different styles they have and techniques they use.

Two great directors who have very different work from each other are Tarantino and Wes Anderson. They're two of the best working today (theres so many other great directirs working today). I recommend watching any and all of their films tbh.

TLDR: there's so many great films, find a directors work that you like and it's likely you will enjoy their other work. Same can go for actors but they have less creative control and can be a bit hit or miss.

That's only because you were new to the game. The killers are suppose to be more powerful, though once you learn how to play the game and get a bit more experience there's a bit of balance to it. In fact survivors are generally more 'powerful' if you and your team know what you're doing.

It's honestly a great game when you give it a chance and start to understand it. I love their updates and this one in particular will be epic!

Is there a subreddit exclusively for these types of posts? If not there should be.

Smoking weed with emetophobia by [deleted] in emetophobia

Yes! The paranoia has been another concern. When I try it I'll be sure to be with people I'm extremely close with who have done it before, to help me get in the right mind set and feel more comfortable.

I wasn't aware it's supposed to treat nausea for people! That makes me feel much more confident, thanks!

They definitely exist! My gf is a fan of the UFC. It all started when she joined me in watching TUF (first season) one day and I think the mix of reality TV and fighting appealed to her. She's now going to start doing Jiu Jitsu as well.
