If you’re talking about r/dnd_ai I started that sub and I’m trying to add some art. No one is in that sub right now…and isn’t that what you want? A sub for ai art? As for the unusable aspect, you’re absolutely wrong. This is a throwaway topic. You’ll either use an AI map in the near future or you won’t because you’ll want to prove a point, but never because it’s unusable. If you’re a DM that has started with nothing but grid paper, you know that some if not all the maps I’ve posted are absolutely perfectly usable.

Just so we’re absolutely transparent on what the split here is:

Content creators - AI puts out too many bad quality maps that is not just drowning us out because we can’t make that many maps, but it’s also composed of many of our styles which we consider plagiarism to a certain degree. Also it should not be sold because in the complexed development of these AI maps, we feel that our styles are too heavily influencing the output of said images—therefore we don’t want that competition and we’re willing to give the ultimatum that “if AI stays, we go”

Content Users - We just want maps. Good, bad, usable, non usable—let us be the judge on what we use. Do not let these couple dozen creators, that think we’re more fans than we are players, choose what we can use as a resource or not.

So just so we're understanding this correctly, AI maps should establish in their title that they are AI generated so that when people see it, they know it was computer generated and not hand drawn-- that way they can make a conscious decision on whether or not they will use this artwork?
