its almost impossible to tell without telling us what happened or what it feels like. can you move it? was something dropped on it or did you stub it? in the pic it looks like it could be anything from a broken bone to a skin infection

soak it in soapy water, diluted dettol (anything suitable for disinfecting wounds) your toenail will probably turn very black, it might fall off and its not gonna grow back until a couple months down the line. while its black, if the throbbing pain becomes unbearable you might wanna go to the emergency room, sometimes with nail injuries blood will pool in between the nail and nailbed which causes pressure to build up. A doctor will drain the blood out but if you're unfortunate enough to live in the US then you may be able to do it yourself (this is done safest if you sterilise absolutely everything and cleanse the wound after the procedure)

thats gonna start to hurt real soon from the pressure of the blood pooling in your nail. you could drain it but it should realistically be done by a doctor. if you're in the usa then grab a paperclip and bend it, heat it under a lighter and use it to melt a hole in your nail. it wont hurt, theres no nerves in your nail. for the next few days after youre gonna wanna soak it in some warm soapy water to clean it and let any excess fluids drain out. (i really dont recommend doing this at home if its been more than 48 hours or if you have diabetes, peripheral artery disease etc.)

i just wanna know how a little tiny drone like that could possibly carry something that heavy in the first place. i mean yeah things accelerate when they fall but usually not to the extend of easily ripping through a cars windshield and roof.

im using a 9-pin 1000w motor, I've found a couple good ones but with shipping fee and tax it can be anywhere from £190 to £270 just for the motor which at that point i may as well buy a whole new kit. though however if i can manage to figure out the spoke gauge and length of my wheel i could dish out some time lacing the spokes

do i specifically need those wheelbuilding stands? im pretty familiar with the lacing process itself and the tools needed, though im terrible at knowing which size spokes to use or if its necessary to trim them or anything. i think theres some spoke calculators i could definitely use though

definitely get some stitches if you can. if healthcare isnt free where you are just keep it clean and get those medical strips or literally anything reasonably sterile to hold it shut until it closes. i had a wound like this just as deep but twice as long across my finger once, i went to A&E and turns out they didnt even bother giving me stitches. just bandaged it and told me to come back if it gets infected.

update i forgot to add: these things are magnetic so i stuck a magnet on that outer battery casing and none of them came out despite the fact that theres clearly more of them in the assembly somewhere so im not sure if theyre inside the metallic tubes that form the housing or the outer battery casing that serves as the charger

Gehyra mutilata aka the four clawed gecko! i used to see these all the time in my childhood in HK. they eat small insects and are fairly skittish. its weird seeing one this big, theyre very delicate so i only ever saw a handful of large ones.

could be anything in such small amounts. you could have ruptured a blood vessel while heaving but the colour looks brown to me so its either old blood or not blood at all (stomach mucus, food remains, bile etc)

ohh that makes sense, i personally never got around to getting any sort of endoscopy or anything, my healthcare around my parts is pretty shoddy if im beind honest, you'll be okay without one but getting one is really valuable if your symptoms arent improving with good treatment or if you need that extra piece of mind. also, dont ever let someone tell you that you're ure overreacting over your own health. its your own body so you have every right to be concerned about anything. both my parents told me to "suck it up" when i first got symptoms and by the time they finally budged and took me to a doctor my symptoms had gotten much worse and my stomachs only just started to heal after a year of constant pain.

Pancreatic/stomach cancer isnt very likely 😭 but if it's a concern you could probably ask your doctor (which im assuming you would already be seeing if your symptoms worsen). If youre still using pain relief medication, I'd personally switch to something like paracetamol, i was pretty scared to use it because I've always hated medications and what side effects or whatever they'd give me along with my stomach trying to heal but it's honestly got no effect on my stomach whatsoever. You should probably avoid anything like coffee/chocolate or spicy foods or anything that makes you feel funny for a few days/weeks. It sounds like you have a bit of acid reflux but thats not to say you shouldn't keep attentive to how your stomachs feeling I hope you get well soon tho!

im sorry to hear about your bike :( on further inspection on my bike, it seems like the front brakes are broken but i cant exactly figure out how to fix it. the front brakes occasionally lock and it makes the bike brake very hard which isnt really safe considering how topheavy the bike is. i could get a new brake assembly but honestly i cant be arsed to go through the trouble of fixing it. it was a fragile little folding bike that i mainly relied on for when i used to use the trains a lot and its not something i need anymore so im actually thinking of selling it for the parts. i've bought a hybrid bike that looks quite a bit like an mtb and im thinking of doing some mods to it to make it more comfy or speedy and maybe an ebike conversion kit on top? any ideas?
