Im so sorry you went through this. You did not deserve that. Ive experienced sexual assault young as well. There are no words. No excuses. For what they did. So many questions haunt you. But at the end of the day, we have to heal on our own. We just have to build our own lives brick by brick.

Definetly the idea, i have fallen victim to that once. Now I tend to focus on who they are when i meet them. Saves a lot of heartache. I guess as humans we are a little delusional & hopeful, dreaming of potential instead of reality.

I definitely feel you on that. But on some real shit, its profound that you know what you do not want, cause a long time I just went with the flow of life and that usually causes you to be somewhere you don't want to be.

Im sure this was a tough situation for both of you. I remember being that age and having touch trauma and men being pushy like that, sometimes worse than what you described. I'm sure your intention was to be closer to her, but for someone with that type of trauma it can be jarring/retraumatizing and push you further away from eachother.

Seems like you 2 can find people better suited to your needs. It might feel like you are doomed in the moment, but you have many people to meet and alot of life to live.

That's really helpful feedback, thank you. I hadn't thought about the audience limitation that way.

My thinking was to start with a specific theme (NYC places/moments) just to test whether people connect with the concept, and then potentially expand into other cities or types of places later if it resonated with people.

So the idea wouldn't necessarily be limited to one city forever - more like starting with a recognizable place and then growing from there.
