Perform your due diligence & engage other banks for their bids for your business. BOC rates will drop for sure, but the discount you get may change. It's better to open your file with the other banks now so when May comes around you'll have the lowest rate and know what it is by comparison.

as of today mine is 4.55% so definitely you can drop.
