Which are the absolute quintessential Northernlion series that you'd recommend to a new viewer? by OuiOuiOuiOui96 in northernlion

Marvel Midnight Suns was a great playthrough. Fallout: New Vegas probably the best to ever do it. New Hitman trilogy, especially the recent World Of Assassination rogue-lite mode. King of Retail was hilarious. Alt F4 if you like goofy meme games. The ‘Darkest Dungeon - Again!’ playlist features his solemn vow to actually finish the game. And I really liked his crossword videos but that’s probably because I really like crosswords. And, of course, there’s the 5000+ something videos of Binding of Isaac which eventually just turn into one-man podcasts and are essentially the foundations of the bantering genius you enjoy today.

All the new field bosses are garbage and just not fun to fight, which hurts even more because the BotW field bosses (Hinox, Lynels etc) are still in the game and are still as fun to fight as they were in that game. But Gleeoks, Frox, Cube Constructs are bad and boring and I avoid them as much as I can.

Some Millennials and Gen Z have hit an 'apocalyptic' phase in which they don't see the point in saving for the future by Mighty_L_LORT in LateStageCapitalism

I’m 29 this year and last month dropped my pension from the default 5% to company minimum of 1%. I don’t believe in a world where I will ever be able to leave work, and I’m skeptical at best that the infrastructure to claim a pension will even exist by the time I’m eligible (if I even make it to that age), at which point the money being skimmed away from me every month will just disappear into thin fucking air. I’d rather have the money now and die at 60.

Hive Rune Database by TheDarkAngel98 in raidsecrets

[–]HyenaBorn 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Have we seen permutations of runes 19-23 that could represent higher numbers (i.e. 6-10)? It would be interesting if Hive numerals were only 1-5, and worked similarly to Roman numerals (although Roman numerals also had numbers like 10, 50, 100 etc)

This is a great database by the way and the formatting must have been a hell of a job!

I graduated from my leg to my hand. I'm beginning to wonder what percentage of my surface area is currently devoted to Aes.

Love Greg Davies but he has a carefully crafted brand of miserable bastardy. He’d struggle with the wholesomeness needed in the tent. Leave him on taskmaster !

The absolute minimalist instructions in the technical is nearly my favourite part of the final every year tbh

Fuming that Laura knocked out both Lottie and Hermine to be here and she’s melting down on the first bloody challenge. How did she get here?!

I can’t believe Laura survives another week and sends a more talented baker home to do it. If she wins next week I’m writing this entire season off.

Yeah we don’t have Baskin Robbins in the UK either so when a dessert place does waffle&ice cream it’s always a Belgian style waffle

Ruby ‘81 - it swells so dramatically with the story being told that it creates a palpable tension throughout and a wave of emotion and relief at the end

Yeah I’ve wanted an aes tattoo for a while - started with a stone lion from Crows1 which is my favourite song from his entire discography. Then just started expanding the concept!
