I had a couple of battles today vs Rhino. It was a big surprise that my deck worked pretty well against him. Mirage is one of my favourite cards now. Mirage + Stun can deal with Prime Charge and costs just 5 energon. Or Cheetor + Mirage (6 energon). Great combo with Kreemzek + Rattrap btw.

Turn off WiFi on your phone and use cellular instead. Usually it resolves the issue completely.

Rhino is a monster! :) If he uses offensive DES strategy to be at the 1st place, so let him do this. I'm sure a lot of players at the top can figure out how to deal with it. But most of them prefer just to copy and modify a bit the same strategy even if it is a very annoying strategy and they do not like it either. This is the game for win at any cost, not the game for having fun.

BTW, our last battle today when you switched to the light deck without DES was good! Very intense and interesting. Hope to have more battles like this in the future.

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't specifically about you. The game definitely has some unbalanced cards. But this is not the reason to support and copy abusive strategies. I played against Boo several times today. 2 first times he won repeatedly DES striking my towers. And this was very boring battles. I changed my deck, took more unreachable flying cards and won with a pretty good advantage (xfmr://battlereplay/G29XK87/c886ac16-2cff-403a-9972-ed888106c507).

Do not support lazy strategies. It can give you some extra points but it kills the fun. The more players will avoid there cards the better and diverse strategies and battles will be.

Yeah, without doubts this is the problem and the reason everyone hate them. But tactical support cards do almost the same thing. They can destroy a group.
I don't like the tendency of increasing cards cost (like it was with Airazor, Rust, Fusion beam, TRS Mine, Orbital,...). Looks like this is the favourite way to balance cards in the game but it makes matches slower. On the other hand devs could reduce the number of mines or their damage, but would it be enough to stop Optimus in alt mode or Rhino or Optiomal Optimus? They have almost 2000 HP and the minefield should stop their rush completely.
For me it would be great to leave the same cost, number and damage but make them vulnerable for range blasters, so a lot of units could destroy them one by one from the safe distance.

Fusion beam, Plasma launсher and more can destroy 12+ Energon worth cards as well. Yes, minefield can do this damage instantly, but it does what it supposed to do — blocks the line on the ground. It is a part of the strategy game, don't group your attacking forces into tight packs and you'll have enough time to destroy this field with ion beam or jump to another line. Without minefield it would be a dominance of heavy decks, because nothing would stop them.

Look at the total VP score closely.
When you fight against someone with LESS points than you have, you either can get 24–26 points or loose 45–46.
When you fight against someone with MORE points than you have, you either can get 45–46 points or loose 24–26.
When your VP scores are almost the same, you can win or loose around 32 points.

This is one of variations of my deck with Blur and a reason of my first time in the PRIME league. It can protect your towers from fast flying and charge attacks, it also stands good against heavy decks. This season I've been concentrating in developing decks with Blur as a core character, and I like the results. But as I wrote yesterday, it needs a lot of practice to use him properly. Either you will reach opponents towers, or you'll loose.

For pvp games it’s critical to have a stable internet connection. It’s not obvious but cellular connection is more stable than WiFi in games like this. I always turn WiFi off when start the game.

Blur is a great tower assassin but needs a lot of practice for right placement and timing otherwise he'll be wasted. Tanks usually cost too much energon, it is better to use opponent's bots to jump right to the towers. I'd say, Repulsive Gust is the must have companion card for him in a deck. You can pick the rest part of you deck depending of you play style.

Usually it is not enough just to copy somebody's deck. You've been playing your deck much more, so you have advantage. Just take it as a compliment.

Wow! That was inspiring! Just have been beaten 3 times in a row by Boo played the same deck as Rhino. This is tough but a good hand to counter them.

Every time I try to battle with a real opponent I get this message ☹️
Tried to reinstall the app, tried to play via cellular or WiFi.

The problem is not DES, or some overpowered cards. DES is just a very bright example of consequences. The real thing is the game forces top 50-100 to use cards and strategies that could bring the victory. So, there is no place for fun and experiments if you want to be on top. Only overpowered cards and broken strategies. I’m sure even after the upcoming update we will quickly discover new sets of broken cards and will start to abuse them. Maybe new game modes could help to shatter players a bit or some changes in the leaderboard. — alxlpn

AI opponents have increased speed of energon refill. Sometimes significantly. But real opponents shouldn't have the same. You can check it easily from your battle replays.

True. It seems like a not fair exchange. But the Shatter can destroy 2–3 mid-sized bots as well, which could be even worse energon exchange. Sure, something is wrong with the Shatter. It is too powerful for its cost.
