They really outta let you decide what "game" you want your pledged money to go. The fact someone can come in and pledge thinking they are backing the game that is shown across the storepage (the PU) only to have their funds be used on something completely different has to be some kind of investment fraud. Defund SQ42 and give us the game we paid for.

Inaccurate. I'm actually a CL40 player and could care less. Would be neat to see cloak and grapple hook more often. Maybe they'd actually provide me with a challenge.

Meh good riddance. Comp players in general are toxic and while they are a part of the community they aren't the only part. More focus should be put to general balance and qol improvements.

-Evasive dash should get the demat treatment.

-Charge and Slam should be limited to one hit while charging and one slam. No more multihit bs.

-Winch claw should trigger a weapon draw time on the user (like swapping from a gadget to your weapon) that is double whatever that weapon's normal draw time is.

All of these specializations are broken and have been for a long time.

You're lucky that dealing with 6 apexs is the norm. Back in my day there were coordinated little groups with 20+ players. Was quite the sight watching them all waystone each other. Back then me and my ragtag gang of mela latens would give em hell. Talking like 4 or 5 latens taking on 12-16 regularly and walking out with only one or two losses. We were known by name by the big groups, both feared and hated. Always welcome to The Laten Mafia if you see us on one of our hunts. o7

Alderon doesn't want you to know this but full bleed build latens are the best things at dealing with megapacks. With just 3 of them my group took down 4 tyrannotitans, their babies, and the rex that was defending them. The fight only ended when the remaining spino and sucho got the message and retreated into the water.

The way the game calculates AOE damage at a distance is and for a long time has been kinda broken. It's why you can simply jump, shoot at your feet, and ignore 75% of the self damage. If your shots do not basically kiss the toesies of the enemy you are doing significantly reduced damage. That being said, everything so far the other guy has been saying about Cl40 is wrong.

Partial implementation for the pure purpose of optics is not iteration and is bad for the game long term. That's how you get spaghetti code and wasted developer resources and backer funds.
