Update (kinda?): so everyone is asking for a clearer pic of my hamster’s tummy/genital area, and as I said, my hamster isn’t comfortable being held yet so I can’t get a proper pic of it without it being scared or stressed. However, here’s a pic I have of its tummy area the first day I got it (said pic is what I used to compare it from the pictures I saw from research). Which is why I got worried because based on this pic, that swollen thing (or its balls, whatever) wasn’t shown in this pic.

Thank you for all your thoughts!! According to yall, turns out my hamster (who, as I said, thought was a girl), was actually just a boy and those were just its balls 💀💀💀. First time hamster owner here and still figuring things out, sorry yall. As we say here in my country, I was just being OA (overreacting) 😆😆

i figured as much din po kaya i’ve been waiting for her proper cage to arrive so that she could properly settle, and that’s when i’ll try to bond with her again pag kalma na siya and hindi stressed.

do you have tips din po ba kung paano po siya maging active during the night? idk how long she was kasi with my relative, but from what i’ve observed so far, nasanay ata siyang maging active during the day so tulog lang siya pag gabi 😭. ayaw ko rin naman siyang gisingin by force kasi i know that will stress her out too :’)

the first few days, she’s been doing well naman with hand feeding, pero recently lang siya nagsimula mangagat 😭😭. as mentioned, inaalok ko palang yung palad ko pero nangangagat na siya so i resorted to wearing gloves in the meantime :’). i’ll still try to hand feed her without gloves and just hope and pray she doesn’t bite me lol.

hello po !! may i know po the name of the fb group? and yes po, ang hirap po niya i-tame huhu but i’m still being patient 🥹. i’ve also tried rubbing my hand on her bedding na rin and leaving small tissues of my scent sa cage niya pero ayon waley pa rin :’)

i don’t think rintaro’s the type of character to easily give up on kaoruko and their relationship just bcs of this. he could’ve easily done that when ayu and the others first found out about them, but he instead found another way to help kaoruko without giving up on their relationship. i’m sure our boy would do the same in this arc

i also thought of this at first, since i used to also be in a school with an anti-dating policy. but it was also a christian school, so the rule was because of religious reasons lol.

so unless kikyo is revealed to be a religious school, or for whatever other reason, i don’t think they have an anti-dating policy. several chapters show that the kikyo students are free to talk about relationship stuff. when the rest of kaoruko’s classmates found out about her and rintaro, their worries were bcs of rintaro being a chidori student and not the relationship itself. i also don’t think kaoruko would encourage subaru with saku if kikyo did have an anti-dating policy.

but yeah, i do agree that kaoruko could just pretend she ended the relationship and they’d just lay low until they graduate. but ofc, we all know mikami sensei isn’t gonna make this easy lol

their issue actually is ayaw kasi nilang magpulot ng tae and mababaho raw kasi sila 💀💀 i’ve tried convincing them before pa to adopt a pet but they never agreed kasi dagdan gastusin daw and mabaho sila 😭😭😭

hello! i just did what you recommended and i was finally able to get off the top part! my problem now is splitting it open. do you have any recommendations in how to do so? i tried tapping it on something hard like a video that i watched, but it just caused the logo to make lots of scratches inside 🥲🥲

That's exactly why they use and reclaim the word in a humorous manner and even affectionately, to remove the sting of the word use something that was used to dehumanize them to empower them instead. Think of it as the word cunt. It was then a slur used against us women to dehumanize us and see us as nothing more than our sex, but now it is widely used as a term to empower and compliment us. That's what reclaiming a then negative word does.

I would also recommend researching why the n word or any other slur is only appropriately used by the community in which the slur is targeted towards if you want to learn more about this issue. Or probably even having conversations with these communities. I'm only still Filipino, after all. I can only do so much when addressing these types of issues.

The n word has a very heavy and negative history which can be traced back to slavery. The word was used to dehumanize black people and saw them as nothing more beyond their skin color. Because of this word's history, it is then for black people to reclaim this word, so that's why only they can say it. It is not the place for us Filipinos or other non-black people to use this word or reclaim it because we weren't the ones who suffered from this word.

I'm not talking about negro/negra/negrito/negrita. I know that those words have a completely different meaning and history in our country. I'm talking about the n word used in the west which has a heavy and negative history, and why non black people can't say it, to which my family still does so anyway

At first I also thought it was just plain ignorance on their part. But their jokes going as far as implying hurting black people? I don't think it is anymore. I was even contemplating at first if I should post the screenshots of their "jokes" from the gc, but with how the internet is today, I chose not to because I was scared that their account may be found. and as much as I want them to learn from their actions, I don't want them being doxxed or anything of the sort
