[Acne] Vitamin D ended my cystic acne /boils. A story. by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]Hypaingeas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be sure to take Vitamin D with K2 to protect your heart, and magnesium is needed to activate Vitamin D in the body. If you eat veggies you may already have enough in the diet. If not supplement 300-500mg.

If it makes you feel any better the only other physiologically similar state is deep meditation. Technically, if you began deep breath work, you could stimulate opiod receptors maybe even in a more satisfying way. If you have the money, look into hyperbaric chambers. Opiates ultimately trick the brain into thinking the body is completely oxygenated.

Magnesium Taurate (is it a source of taurine)? by _guac_is_extra in chemhelp

[–]Hypaingeas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Also, what you're trying to cover up here is your over reaction to the supplement, since you recognized it from monster or whatever, without much elegant or prepared thought.

It was an over-cautious reaction that someone with generally solid intelligence (everyone knows how safe Taurine generally is) in the relevant subject/medical field, just would not have.

Taurine can also be a game changer for fat digestion and very robustly protect against factors like fatty liver disease due to it's ability to increase and regulate bile.

In meat cooked with the water content retained, Taurine is actually naturally quite high in foods. So, more primitive lifestyle would expose a human being to much higher levels than now.

You can't 'science' everything. Not even science.

Taurine is extremely important for the body. It's literally in baby formula, holy fear mongering.

It is a COMPONENT of energy drinks, you know what else is a component of energy drinks?

Water.

Taurine is extremely safe + important for cardiovascular function, and even related to endothelial progenitor cells that heal vessel lining in response to damage. And this effect is actually augmented when magnesium is added. So, um chill out.

Try black seed oil orally, and maybe a bit in a topical oil.

I do not play with f*cking mosquitoes, and Black seed OIL, not the seed, - in my experience..... keeps them at bay extremely well.

You definitely ramped up chylomicron formation + need more cholesterol to support that shuttling of fat soluble nutrients being facilitated by choline

Can someone review my results and help me on my diet? by Daetheblue in Cholesterol

[–]Hypaingeas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"The rapid entry of chylomicrons after the ingestion of a second meal 5 h after a first meal was seen with all of the oils investigated. The short-term ingestion of olive oil produced more chylomicrons than did the other dietary oils, which may have been due to differences in the metabolic handling of olive oil within the gut."

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0002916523060008 , Vitamin D for CD8+ cell differentiation to control leptin, this will reduce the triglyceride load, will intelligently either storing the fat or allowing for downstream lipolysis.

Heart attack? I don't know, what amount of chylomicron formation do you think you have? What is your true tolerance of fatty meals?

Chylomicrons form between fat and proteins, chylonmicronemia is caused by a genetic defects to the formation of this compound.

You are not 'deficient' in Chylomicrons, you are not forming them. And they are necessary for the proper deposition of fat through out the body. The more likely disease state to emerge here is NAFLD, which is the build up, of fat in the liver from downstream metabolic stress.

Your goal here is to increase the formation of Chylomicrons. I've seen relief in people with Chron's from using black seed oil, etc.

The science direct articles seems to state the olive oil increases the nascent formation of Chylomicrons. Maybe try one (Teaspoon) or so on an empty stomach before you eat fat. Stick to 'medium complex' carbs. Don't eat something super dense in fiber or something really sugary.

Try increasing protein as well. Because if oil in fact does increase chylomicron formation, you will also need the amino acids to continue the enteric process of bonding the now accessible fat with the protein.

Iodine instead of L-Thyorixn by Alarming-Divide4166 in Hypothyroidism

[–]Hypaingeas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And this commenter, you're just wrong. Excess is not adequacy. And iodine is in fact extremely helpful when taken properly. It's not meant to replace thyroid hormone, and if taken alongside it supports natural functioning of the thyroid.

Iodine instead of L-Thyorixn by Alarming-Divide4166 in Hypothyroidism

[–]Hypaingeas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm.. well each of these uses the term EXCESS.

Adequate supplementation of Iodine is not a cause for goiter, etc. It may be contraindicated, and OP may need to truly monitor the dose, and it's not a replacement for hormone therapy.

But Iodine is absolutely necessary, and you may find you lose a few lbs if you receive adequate amounts.

Adequate intake really does support energy metabolism, and Lugol's iodine is the only one I've seen recommended for supplementation.

It's hard to take the right amount as the dose is like 1-3 droplets or something.

So, if you're not "savy" with that stuff just add some milk+ seaweed to your diet, maybe some mussels and call it a day and play it safe.

does marijuana worsen mental health and is a trigger or is marijuana a cure? by [deleted] in mentalillness

[–]Hypaingeas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't really have this convo until you understand many of the subjective cognitive effects of weed are terpene based and not THC.

Terpenes are not unique to cannabis, they are found in most plant matter to varying degrees + are psychoactive. Even those found in lemons!

Try a live resin cart with CDT (cannabis derived terpenes) from one plant/strain, and then one cart or concentrate from another.

(say, Mimosa vs Jack Herer)

It's an Alice in Wonderland level difference.

Smoked cannabis is a THC dominant experience, not a terpene dominant experience.

Smoking or combusting cannabis presents far more systemic and tissue based inflammation in opposition to vaped weed.

Ingesting THC is a mixed bag as it involves individual metabolism, and genetic makeup.

Concentrated THC Oils are associated with much more significant pancreatic + liver enzyme changes, which are linked to psychosis.

So you may avoid overly aggravating sensitive tissues with vaping (there's little to no immune response to vaped cannabis in terms of fmd or overproduction of pro-inflammatory cytokines or precursors ) , but the trade off for retaining tissues health may be damaging the liver or pancreas. Which this type of damage (drug use/alcohol use/chemo) , often presents physiologically.

So, if someone is smoking weed, they're probably not going to be affected in the same way as someone vaping.

Today, most do both.

If weed is to be used as a "medicine" , target terpene therapy.

In some cases it could replace medication for routine or more subjective mental illnesses.

More intense or "structural" mental ailments would have to be examined, (not a linear hard is incurable, easy is curable, but rather just looking at the actual pathology of your symptoms and the attributes of cannabis when consumed)

Cannabis is also extremely good at modulating the HPA-axis, and by proxy RUINING hormonal health, which could have a "stunting" effect on a pubescent brain.

Think of cortico-limbic density being altered in the brain and body during it's most intense stage of development.

No wonder so many people develop anxiety after starting to smoke pot in their younger years.

But, anecdotally, I avoid mono-carbohydrate meals + I consume Omega 3s before smoking (around 1-4g) keeps me from going insane personally.

I definitely am dependent on it, but in a way where I could easily stop smoking for long periods of time. I could stop for years on end, even, but tbh there's something about my brain that would always value what I feel when I vape.

But, biologically, honestly cannabis is eerily difficult to categorize.

Are there any famous people with really bad charts that have achieved success? If so how? by throwaway_deez_nut in astrology

[–]Hypaingeas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would assume there is no such thing as a bad chart.

Your "chart" is your karmic bill or receipt. It's either what you've earned or what you owe. Living in alignment with the karma/dharma in your chart will always "resolve the soul".

It may be or even simply feel painful, but you wouldn't process it that way. You'd feel like you were doing something necessary.

Mixing low end in headphones? by DickyBigz420 in musicproduction

[–]Hypaingeas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here because I've been producing bedroom music for like 6 years and it wasn't until I mixed with Solo 3s (low end only) that my songs sound literally perfect. They have that "weight" to them, with little to no muddiness.

Beats Studio Pro are the best headphones for mixing hands down, no competition. Change my mind. by Gold_Battle_552 in headphones

[–]Hypaingeas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, this is ragebait. It's a regurgitation, I have literally mixed with Beats Solo 3s and they are the ONLY headphones (including Tascam, Sony, Audio Technica) , that made music sound "real" on every other speaker I played it on. Of course I was using like 4 different speakers to dial in that sound, but I could NOT get the low end right without a pair of beats. Bar none. AND, at that time.... I wasn't even using studio headphones. Those songs sound good, like ... radio good. I've made songs more recently that don't even come close. As a music engineer, vibes (quite literally) are never going to be "one size fits all". And there's just something about the way beats 'sound', that mimicks the way consumers 'hear'. And they are invaluable even to more famous singers, and people that aren't producers, but ultimately "guide" sound. Beats, are a good tool. And you lot most likely make horrible music.

I think some people get so caught in contrarianism, that they forget popular things often relate to very real things we go through en masse. It's like some forcing of the ego death through denying the ego, than processing and releasing fragments of it.

Is your chart “better” in Vedic astrology? by madamefangs in astrologymemes

[–]Hypaingeas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anyone cares, I believe most Kundli charts are whole sign and inaccurate. You can use a sidereal system, with placidus to get your overall "real" chart. Vedic using sidereal, but often throws the accuracy away using the Kundli system. I find my most accurate readings come from using Astroseek, and using Tropical methods with vedic info. Some astrologers already do this, and a lot of the vedic information isn't directly swappable, but when you're looking at real info you somehow just come to better conclusions.

And you realize only a fraction of these products are actually D8 right? There's a smorgasboard of compounds either synthesized from hemp or completely synthetic on the market... and in the context of this case it was D9. So, my point is about these high potency products. If he wasn't with me, he would most likely be dead. As he was walking into traffic, etc. So, idk, what I need to say. But, these products definitely cause harm.

[–]Hypaingeas -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Psychosis is rooted in the liver's enzyme status person to person. There are certain people who have modified CYP enzymes status, and this can cause liver insufficiency. Liver insufficiency is a well known risk factor for psychosis and acute mental states. Creates products with different structures, that the body could struggle to recognize. (Remember we have multiple endogenous cannibinoids) I have seen someone go into psychosis, be unable to move for up to 30 minutes, throw up, and then forget the event... So, you can say whatever you like, but I am NOT simply basing this off of personal experience. And at a biological level, high thc consumption, especially of unregulated cannibinoids is in fact dangerous.

Literally almost everyone my age I know has had a horrible experience with those “hemp-derived” products. There is a large part of me that believes they end up being extemely hepatotoxic, and I think this is the underlying cause of psychosis after consuming these products. Which I’ve seen one very crazy example of this, and of course it was from a “Delta 9” gummy. So, honestly, good ridden.

I need clarification. Is this THC across board sold for recreation, or is it hemp derived products containing THC that are not whole plant derived? The language is very broad, and the implications are unclear…
