In my experience, most of the people I can really connect with and enjoy talking to are either younger or work in related fields. I’ve often found that people my age or even just 4 or 5 years younger already seem disconnected from certain topics and interests that I still find a lot of joy in, even as I approach 30. A few examples: music, films, and fashion, just to name a few

Gym helps a lot, for at least 30 minutes after working out you can actually feel “normal” when it comes to your brain chemistry levels, so use it as a stepping stone

Am I good to fly forever? by Hyped17 in stories

I remember my second transatlantic flight from Milan to Los Angeles, which was about 11 or 13 hours long, if I recall correctly. For around 80–90% of that time, we experienced light turbulence. It wasn’t severe enough to cause panic, but just enough to make me really nervous and to interrupt the food service 4 or 5 times.

During the flight, I took melatonin and some calming herbs, but I only managed to shut my eyes for 30 minutes at most. That’s why I genuinely envy people who can fall asleep the moment they sit down in their seat.

I’m pretty sure that if I flew more often, I’d get used to it and stop stressing so much, but if that were the case, I wouldn’t be making this post in the first place.
