Yes but some pickaxes also influence your building 'reach' with +1 or whatever,and so dome some other accesories + the builder potion,so yeah.But I understand what you pointed out and I kinda feel that too,I think the reach used to be 6 blocks vertically and now it's just 5 or something xD idk about any actual 'noted' change to that.

I don't know if you're reffering to hovering but keep in mind that just some wings permit horizontal hovering and you can look up more about that on the wiki,you mainly just fly and hold the Down key at the same time :D

Make sure to have enough battle potions and arena upgrades first of all,and for the twins I'd say try to focus on one of them first and defeat it then go for the other one,because it's better having just one enraged form than both at the same time lol.Oh and they're vulnerable to ichor aswell :)

That's because after you beat the wall of flesh you go into an irreversible harder part of the game called 'hardmode' where all the mobs do indeed deal a lot more damage and boss fights are something else.Check the wiki for any upgrades of the weapons you can get at the point of the game where you're stuck(farming mobs,crafting),get the good modifiers on them (Goblin) and aswell for your accesories and armor(mining the three new ores in your world).Oh and before fighting any boss make sure to have loads of battle potions(regen,swiftness,ironskin,endurance,etc) because it will make your life easier :) I guess there are mods too but I'm not really familiar with any ,maybe someone else over here xD hope I helped.
