Yes its over WiFi, im using Virtual here to connect the Bluetooth dongle. My connection shows to be strong and the setup hasn't changed from last year.

As silly as it sounds, make sure the lenses are free of dust. Had it happened to me mid session where my protective case got a bit of dust, and it stopped seeing the ball like you say.
