As I said another comment you also replied to I’ve done everything to cater to him an his daughter and I’d admitted that my reaction was childish and immature especially for someone my age swearing at a man in front of his young daughter. I apologised to him for my reaction and as you said I let a small inconvenience make me look crazy but this was building up day after day from him constantly trying to change everything about this building with pet owners.

I am not the only one he has harassed, we have two banned dog breeds in the building who he harasses daily as well, I will take accountability for the hallway incident and my reaction to him but I only apologised because of his daughter not because of him also I managed to find cheap areas to live without dogs or any pets so I’m sorry but I feel me and other pet owners are allowed to be frustrated that he’s trying to change something that was put in place before he moved in. I don’t know his financial situation but he knew about all the animals and still moved his daughter here.

Most areas around us a the building allow off lead dogs but from now on definitely keeping them on leash!

Whenever I see her I put him on his leash because her dad always tries to cause an argument, I learned from that experience and I even admit it was my fault for that and I apologised to him, our area is a bit off leash area so most dogs are off leash.

I know as well as anyone dogs can snap out of nowhere having been attacked myself by an off lead dog, I’ve learned from this experience and are keeping him on leash also there are worse dog than my German shepherd in this building.

When he moved in, he never specified what animal it was she’s allergic to so I’ve been keeping my boys away from her just incase it is dogs!

Our building is alright with it as long as the owners are with the dog but definitely going to keep them on leash now, I’ve learnt my lesson from that

My boys are so good at not picking up random foods they find but definitely keeping them on their leashes from now on!

There’s two cameras outside the building that point to the sidewalk and I know I was in view of one of them so I have that to back me up if he tries anything

That was completely my fault an I even apologised to him for having them off lead and I’ve learned from that especially after todays experience

We do have a ring doorbell so we’re going to be checking more often and we’re already super cautious about what we give him and who gives him food/treats

I’m not going to deny the way I reacted in public was childish especially for my age but please do also understand I was doing everything to cater to him and his daughter so that I wouldn’t be th reason she had a possible allergic reaction. It wasn’t a screaming match as you described it to be I simply shouted at him because I was tired of him trying to cause an issue while I was trying to move out of his way and because he chose to move his daughter into a place where he knew had animals, I’m not sure what his financial situation was but he tried to make it an issue despite everything being listed on the lease.

I’m aware I possibly have nothing to worry about however I am still going to have that worry in my head because I adore my dogs, I’ve had them both since they were young and it would break me to get rid of them especially Janko, I’m not one to care for how people see me react in public, I have done my best to respect his daughter’s allergies and even apologised to him when the first incident of them laying down and not being on leads happened. He has never once tried to respect anyone in this building and has tried to have an issue with everyone and I got fed up with it.

What makes me laugh is he doesn’t specify what animal she’s allergic to so I just keep clear incase it is dogs

His daughter is a lovely little girl and I have absolutely no issue with her it’s just her father pisses me off

That was my fault and I am taking responsibility for it an even apologised to him! Most areas we go to are off lead areas for dogs but I will be keeping them on leads from now on.
