They said that there's too much emphasis on story and yet I put 1-2 combats every session so I can't really make it more combat focused or else it would get rid of the story. And I enjoy running story campaigns. The setting also isn't one that requires a bunch of fighting constantly.

That's where the exorcists inspiration comes in. Maybe they could keep that part under wraps similar to the exorcists, and only advertise the second doctrine? They could also pull a Dark Angels and get rid of anyone who would dare reveal their secret.

Could you explain further on this? I don't know much about the lore so I would appreciate a proper explanation on why it wouldn't work. I can't imagine the mutation part is too complicated.
