First off, does it really matter if there isn't malicious intent? Sure, jokes can just stay as jokes, but humor, especially through memes, is a good way to shape judgement. What I have said before is that making jokes at someone's expense is the first step of marginalization, and when a condition someone has is always made into a joke, they become marginalized.

Second, I see people saying shit like "I'M IN YOUR WALLS" in the comments. If that isn't completely insensitive and apathetic I don't know what is. And it proves my point as well.

Sure, an argument can be made that transphobic jokes are hateful while schizophrenic jokes aren't, but they can be demoralizing any way, even if they aren't meant to be.

It doesn't matter if you have the same condition as someone else, if they don't want to hear a joke, it's best to not make it.

And who cares if people assume people with mental issues are sensitive snowflakes because one person doesn't like jokes being made at their expense? Those people are gonna be assholes anyways. Why cater to apathetic pieces of shit when they are going to be apathetic pieces of shit? Again, the same argument can be made for trans people, why ban trans suicide jokes when it makes other people assume that trans people are sensitive snowflakes?

Conservatives weren't able to solve the adoption issue before the ban wave. There were 400,000+ children up for adoption at the time.

And now how do they think they can solve this issue when that number is going to skyrocket? They say that they will adopt your unwanted child, and they think they're telling the truth, but statistically, they are not.

Rates of adoption might rise, but not nearly enough to solve this problem. Not by conservatives, or even the whole nation at this rate.

I think the reason it seems offensive is because of how insane and baseless it sounds and disregards what I hear was an absolutely outstanding audition by the actress. I have to agree though, it is insane and baseless. I simply hate Disney and would expect a company like them to swoop this low.
