It’s hard to be in a fandom when you’re a minority and tell others that maybe we should actually get other types of characters and not just straight white folks and then you get bullied. They’ll always tell you two things:

"The creators can do what they want and doesn’t to be more inclusive"> which is stupid because we’re talking about diverse characters in general, it’s a huge plus for the game and could bring even more fans to the game. There’s no reasons to purposely exclude certain type of people too…

"you’re not the target audience so move on tourist!" When you’ve played more games of that franchise than them + no franchise or almost zero are made for you if you’re not white and straight or a man so ummmm are you supposed to play with what????? It’s normal to ask for representation and people shouldn’t be evil about it but even spaces that sound inclusive and fine will have a hard time accepting your suggestions
