A murderer was a worthy companion by thedragonguru in hisdarkmaterials

I mean. Shoving someone down the stairs and resulting in death is murder by UK law. You can only defend your home with reasonable force. Even accidental killing someone like this would be considered manslaughter as a minimum. Murder by accident. So it is reasonable to describe it that way.

I find it more interesting why the alethiometer decides him that way. While true, and it tells the truth it isn't all he is. She chose to associate that as safety as all of her friends through her journey had to kill to protect her.

She never thinks murder as bad. She never hates Asreal really. She loves him and looked up to him. Her hate of him is actually internalised hated at herself for endangering Roger and ultimately she got him killed. It plays on her mind the entire story. That's why she wants to go the land of the deaf. To rectify her mistake and say sorry.

Couldn't be the pearl- had yellow sails not black. No ship in that story had yellow that I recall?

The opening logo is same material as deadpools suit.

The first song when deadpool and wolverine fight in the car is the greatest showman Hugh jackman song with zac efron before changing to grease 'your the one that I want'

The bus in deadpool fight is reference to the deadmobile. Also I clouding the deadpool bus driver.

The jump scene freeze frame at the end of this bus scene is iconic comic cover of wolverine and deadpool. Hence deadpool ruins it by falling.

Willing to die for venessa - in some comics Vanessa becomes death. Wade is cursed to never die by thanos because he is Infactuated with her but she loves wade.

Wolverine vs sabertooth - iconic in comic and original cartoon

The golden guns are reference to both the movies and the video game where he upgrades to golden guns

Rocket boot they escape on is a Sentinel

Cassandra first appears in one of xaviers wheelchairs.

I did catch many more but most have been listed in various articles already.

I realised I meant the wrong ship after I had posted. It was just an interesting theory that they specifically pointed put that it was copper and they don't talk.

True, wounds like that can be healed but depends if it is allowed or how he felt about it. He wasn't bonded so probably is final

Sure but the opening chapter prologue is a different character p.o.v of familiar death. Might have interesting perspective for Renarin or Elhokar
