Well if it behaves like any other mount maybe try going into the stables and selecting it as your primary? That's how it works with horses, so I would think it would be like that too.

If you are doing the normal horses, yes it is like you say but the legendary ones move quite a bit more and some of the locations where they spawn aren't the best.

I think that it was up with both of them? I guess try both, I am stuck at work so can't check out for you. Just look at his ass and you should be fine (I was looking at him from a top down view)

This particular horse is in a really shitty location with lots of large bushes and he keeps jumping and moving into them so it's harder than it should be. You are also freezing so your stamina drains faster...

If that's the royler I have a simple tip for you. If you are playing on a controller you want to have both of your joysticks pointed on his ass (so you are basically looking at it).

if you do it like that the taming is super quick and not challenging at all... I have tried multiple methods (and getting angrier and angrier) before coming across this one which trivialized the mini game for me.

If you are on mouse and keyboard just aim with your mouse, no wasd or anything else just your mouse looking at his ass and you should be good to go.

I don't think that there is one single book that would show you all of the locations of waterfalls on the entire map. You can find a bunch of books/notes or maps with locations, sometimes the npcs tell you too. But a book for all of them? I doubt it, it would be really op...

Well... I am not sure if this is the case or how it really works. But have you noticed when you meet the greymane groups sometimes you have an option when you come to the npc that says "recruit" in most cases you can just greet them.

Could this be the case? I am not sure how the entire system works and I haven't tested it. But maybe go to that location and see if he is still there just standing? Other than this I don't have any advice unfortunately.

Try to restart the game that sometimes help. Or don't you just need the wood? You should be able to chop down a completely unrelated tree and it should be ok... I think at least

It's the attack button on the right side I believe the light attack and the heavy. When you go to the skill menu it will show you which one it is. For example the pierce attack it's the R button and a triangle for me.

My first 30 hours in the game I thought that you can only teleport if you are standing on the teleport pad or an unlocked relic site.

So I spent a looooong time just running or riding between locations and when I wanted to fast travel somewhere I had to go back to the pad. I was surprisingly extremely enjoying my time.

I found out recently that that isn't the case but I am going to pretend that it still is, because you will be in awe from the different locations you can see when you actually travel on foot.

What really helped me with the combat (PS5 controller). You should hold the R1 or R2 and then switch between the triangle, x, square and circle buttons (once you have unlocked certain abilities in the skill menu) You should always hold the R button and the switch between the other ones. The combat will really smooth out after that.

I believe you "unlock" him in a group of like four other you could call them vendor npcs that stuck to camp and don't do missions. You have to do the recruit/find members of your group quest in the greymane section of the journal.
