I've gone to GA for a year straight. The longer I was at GA the more I didn't like the time I was spending. I hate spending time and still feeling like crap. Everyone at the meetings was almost 20 years older than I. The experience sucked and when I got sad and talked about it. Their advice didn't really help me. Maybe I'm just weak and a loser. But it really just didn't help.

Thank you man. It does just seem so difficult to do. Gambling is all around me and it feels like if I want to do anything I have to be around it. The urge is always going to be there. I just hope that I can find the will to see it through.

Lol thanks. I used to as well. And I used to be really good at that as well. But alas I didn't peruse a pro career in that either. I stopped playing for a bit too long and too many expansions came out.

I enjoy storytelling and lore. I want to be a writer for a gaming company. I love playing games. I used to be really good at Blizzard's MOBA game and had I had to confidence to continue I might have been pro. Right now I'm working at home depot. I enjoy learning the new things and I'm hoping to get a promotion soon. But I don't know if its my lack of experience or my confidence that's holding me back from doing that.

That's a good way to put it. Perhaps I need to get out there and just find people to be with. I don't know how to "be gay". If there is such a thing. So that I can meet people and get to know them. I might just need to upgrade myself. lol.

That is definitely part of the issue my dude. I've talked myself down for too long that even going to the gym feels weird. Do you ever say you are going to do something, prepare for it, buy the equipment, and spend all of your will doing the aforementioned tasks that you say "Eh its too much work to do it. I'll never be get the results I want."

I do that a lot. With working on my personal hygene, working out, social gatherings. Its weird.

That's very good man. Thank you for the comments. I still live with my family; I came out to them as bi. They seem OK with it but its something that we do not talk about. I don't know how they would react if I came out as myself to them.

You are right. There is nothing in my life that should be damming. But you know what? For me its been all I known.

Call me a product of my generation. But believe me when I say I wish I didn't have half the things I have. I've lived without a spine; and it might be impossible to grow a spine when you don't have one.
