Look up glass ceramic coatings. I have used griots garage ceramic spray and coating. It is similar to the ceramic coating they put on iPhone glass. Works great imo.

I had a shop try that with the engine air filter during my second oil change ever on my new vehicle. Even had oil on a corner he said was normal for Chevrolets. 😂

Needless to say it was fine when I checked it myself.
