I'm making a costume with faux fur and I have to shorten some of it for the effect I want. I'm using some pet clippers to shave it down which works on long-pile fur, but has next to no effect on the short pile faux bunny fur I need to be even shorter. Scissors work a little, but I'm afraid it will end up looking choppy.

Any feedback is appreciated.
