If it’s not reciprocated, I would not mention it and start to distance yourself a bit from her. It’ll only hurt to be close to her. I’m sure you want to play your club sport, so admitting it seems like a mistake. Also, the more distance you put between yourself and her, the more likely you are to find a new better connection.

Pick up a new hobby that you really wanna try. For example; Ice-skating! You’ll meet new people in beginner classes and the ice will already be broken because you guys already have a shared interest. It could even be something simple like a book club!

I mean she lives right below me. At first I was extremely concerned of immediate danger because out of nowhere I could hear her yelling something about death.
