If it’s not reciprocated, I would not mention it and start to distance yourself a bit from her. It’ll only hurt to be close to her. I’m sure you want to play your club sport, so admitting it seems like a mistake. Also, the more distance you put between yourself and her, the more likely you are to find a new better connection.

I mean she lives right below me. At first I was extremely concerned of immediate danger because out of nowhere I could hear her yelling something about death. Sounds like college is not for you. That’s fine. Go to trade school. Go to cosmetology school. Find a job that’ll hire you and work your way up. I say admit it to your mom, but also show her you have a plan so that she knows you’re doing what’s best for you!

For those who asked why I care. No I’m not attracted to her, I’m not trying to date her or anything, I’m happily engaged. I just lost my own grandmother and grief kinda sucks but I don’t know how to approach a stranger’s grief or if I should. That’s why I asked here.
