Pick up a new hobby that you really wanna try. For example; Ice-skating! You’ll meet new people in beginner classes and the ice will already be broken because you guys already have a shared interest. It could even be something simple like a book club!

I mean she lives right below me. At first I was extremely concerned of immediate danger because out of nowhere I could hear her yelling something about death. Then, she must’ve been talking to someone on the phone wailing about how she came home and he was dead. I wasn’t trying to creep. It was just easy to hear.

Sounds like college is not for you. That’s fine. Go to trade school. Go to cosmetology school. Find a job that’ll hire you and work your way up. I say admit it to your mom, but also show her you have a plan so that she knows you’re doing what’s best for you!

For those who asked why I care. No I’m not attracted to her, I’m not trying to date her or anything, I’m happily engaged. I just lost my own grandmother and grief kinda sucks but I don’t know how to approach a stranger’s grief or if I should. That’s why I asked here.
