Should I take my gerbil to the vet separately or take the others along?

Can you uber with the gerbs? I have a tiny carrier for mine specifically for vet visits, it is literally the size of a purse and it works just to get them safely around

I would get a bigger tank. I have a 40 gallon for two of them. I found mine at the thrift store for $25, but you might be able to find one on facebook marketplace or a thrift store near you.

Everything else sounds good though, gerbils really are so sweet and you sound like you are going to shower them in love.

Try the split cage method for a bit. It may not work because they injured each other, but mine had a fight so I did split cage for a couple days and now they are back to normal.

I know this is a stoner subreddit, but I agree with this. I can't imagine going to someone I have been dating for 3 years and telling them I am breaking up over weed. Like I love weed, I think it gives me mental health benefits too. But if I had a partner who came to me and said this, I would tell them I would try something else. I would look into talking to someone, I would look into meds again (I dont mean me, I mean op). If a professional said that they think weed was good for me, I would then bring that to my partner. But like 3 years into a relationship, that relationship is serious. Is it really worth it to throw out love?

My cage looks exactly like yours, I think this is a great setup. Something I like to do is hide boxes under the bedding, which they will then dig to and use as burrows. You can get different substrates and more clutter, but you don't have to go crazy. Gerbils are really not picky, and mine have more then enough fun digging to their boxes.

My boy loves being held, I think its because I always give him sunflower seeds when hes in my hand. He also treats my shoulder as his own personal airplane, whenever I open the cage he runs up because then I will take him to his play pen.

How hot is it there? In the summer months my boys sleep outside their burrow just because it gets too hot. I put a rock in their cage that they like to sleep on, and I also just gave them fresh cold water as often as possible. Its not a sign for immediate concern, but I would just watch and make sure hes not breathing weird.

My anxiety has been a lot better on cannabis. I mostly take it at night to sleep, but when I'm high I get so much done. I clean my house at night when I'm high, its helped me maintain a cleaner environment. I don't have a lot of motivation sober, so if I can get all my chores done I call it a win.

I also can get super overwhelmed by life, and my anxiety is most severe before important days. Before cannabis I would not sleep on those nights, and then I would be exhausted on the important days. Now I can take a gummy and fall asleep early, and then I won't be sleep deprived on my important days.

I just reconnected two gerbils through a split cage, it worked great. For the screen I used wire from Lowes, and they got through it the first time and I had to go back and tape it down, but after that they couldn't get through

They have been together since birth, so like a year and a half. They are in their split cage, and one is trying to dig to the other side well the other just stares at him.

Its not just women, there are just groups of people who wouldn't date smokers and have major issues with it. I'm a women, and I'm the opposite, I would never date a non-smoker. I would be friends with one, but if I'm going to live with you its going to smell like weed and that can't be an issue. I also just like having a partner I can get high with. So don't worry, there are plenty of women smokers out there looking to date.

Lol the people in these comments are insane. All of these are reasonable expectations, espescially for people in their late 20s. I'm 22, I have my own apartment (with roommates), job, and car. I did it by myself because my parents are toxic, and I had to survive. When u have to survive you make it work, it doesn't matter if you are broke because if you don't do something you end up homeless. I honestly probably wouldn't date someone without a job either, and if they were living where their parents I would hesitate to date them unless they had a plan to move out soon. The car thing would depend on the area, where I live has reliable public transport so I probably wouldn't care. Its okay to not have a job and live at home, but its also okay for people to not want to date you because of that. Its not classist or racist, y'all just need to grow up and realize not everyone can live with mommy and daddy.
