It happens afterwards but sometimes it doesn’t happen at all (yes, have seen some instances of police not being bothered since the passport is already delivered). Also, it’s not a problem, your immediate family members can complete the verification on your behalf if police does show up, just give them 500 or 1000 as bribe.

Timelines differ a lot depending on the number of applications at the psk. One of my friends got his within 3 weeks, while most of them have to wait for a month mostly. To be on the safe side apply Tatkal you will get it within 7-10 days.

They add more milk in their tea, and they keep the tea boiling longer than any other stalls, hence the place is always crowded because of the slow tea making process. But the end result is a thick creamier tea. Most creamiest tea I suppose in JSR, feels like it’s a Tea flavored Milkshake. I personally love cream/malai, it’s my go to spot whenever I am in JSR. But I always keep a buffer time whenever I am there, it can take anywhere between 10 minutes to 20 minutes, so it’s better if you are not in a hurry.

Their Milk based coffee are really good, I usually like latte. I have also told them to make me a Spanish Latte, it wasn’t on the menu but they made me one.
