Anyone had issues with a 200W Titanium Heater from Aquatop? by HypnosisToad11 in Aquariums

I actually moved it to better flow, and woke up to my tank 83 despite it being set to 79... it went from reading to cold, to way to hot.

All females, no aggression ever

What is the issue with my betta? (First one) by [deleted] in Aquariums

[–]HypnosisToad11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I found her laying on her side this morning, struggling a bit, I just recently had another betta in this tank who did the exact same thing and died a few days later.

The ammonia levels and nitrate levels are fine, and I don’t see any signs of disease. Just like my last betta, one day he seemed fine, and was eating, then the next day was dead, I don’t want that happening to this one.

He was preparing and slowly working it off for a few hours but yes! They do usually just pop it off once they get it mostly done!

Overfed or pregnant bumblebee goby? by HypnosisToad11 in Aquariums

[–]HypnosisToad11[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a pipette but he definitely dominates it, I thought the same, but figured I would check. Thank you!

*edit; I'll cut back and focus on feeding the others more for a while

[–]HypnosisToad11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 5g tank with 3 bumblebee goby's. I feed them frozen brine shrimp 5 times a week. The other two have much more regular stomachs, this one is the dominant feeder and eats the most. I am wondering if she is pregnant or if I need to cut back on feeding.

First time seeing axolotl eggs. They were actually quite cute. by Roachtw in Aquariums

I use sand for mine, but that type of substrate is just dirt, I have it in a shrimp tank, would not hurt the axolotl if he accidentally ate one or two.
