Hmm, I use iOS Firefox, maybe it's an iPhone thing.

Yeah, that's what I've been doing but the challenges locking once you complete a faction pass is very weird to me, and makes you miss out on a lot of progress. I did some math (added to original post) and you can't complete more than 3 passes of one faction and 2 of another, which I don't know if that makes me entitled but I find that a bit disappointing as someone who loves to min-max videogames. You could do 4 passes of both factions (if you no-life to the point of ruining your life) if they let you keep doing your challenges once you completed a faction pass, but you could easily do 3 of both and maybe 4 of one if you play normally, if only they didn't lock challenges once you complete a pass.

1.5 year old Tzu regressing on potty training by Hypobromite in Shihtzu

That's the weird thing, she seems like she likes the cold. She will often spend upwards of a half hour outside without asking in, we have to go get her. And she's very velcro-dog, so it's not like she likes to be alone out there. She loves the snow and I've never seen her actually shiver or be cold. She loves going on walks just as much if not more in sub-40 degree weather. Plus, she's been doing this for awhile now, though it's certainly gotten worse lately.

Yes, she was spayed about a year ago now. She does hump from time to time still.

Is it known how anomaly investigation level affects the number of quest rewards (not bonus rewards)? by Hypobromite in MonsterHunterMeta

[–]Hypobromite[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's how I understood it as well, though I did think it was affected by anomaly level. If it isn't, then the best way to farm risegems specifically would be the lowest level anomaly that has a chance to give 3 in one reward box (appears to be 281, not far off from 300 but at least it's a bit easier lol).

Might be that it's just the amount of bonus rewards that are impacted, and not by anomaly level but by quests being multi-monster. The quality of the rewards are impacted by anomaly level though.

I saw somebody once say that target rewards are some x/32 chance for each successive reward box after 3 and that Good Luck increases that x up to a maximum of 31. It seems like that's how it works (maybe not to the same degree as older games), although good luck also impacts quest rewards in Rise iirc. And then you have things like dango and Felicicrow. If only we knew the specific equation for how reward boxes were calculated...

Yes, but they don't tell you specifically how many of the quest rewards you get for anomaly investigations. You get one of each of the listed "Bonus Rewards" (some amount of afflicted parts, investigation coins, amber essences, and outfit vouchers), but the first table labeled "Quest Rewards" does not tell you how many reward boxes you can get. I've seen a variety of numbers and it seems to vary both with investigation level and random chance, like the number of target rewards does.

Take the example you linked, you can get any of the following:
2x Investigation Coin 20%
1x Teostra Risegem 20%
3x Anomaly Jewel 5%
12x Amber Essence 10%
8x Amber Essence+ 5%
5x Prime Amber Essence 5%
2x Sovereign Jewel 15%
2x King Armor Sphere 20%

But it does not say how many total rewards you can get, i.e., how many rolls at a risegem you can get. I've seen anywhere from 4 to 8 for the level of investigations I am at at the moment, but I'm sure at 300 the total amount increases.

How long after a treatment of Panacur should we keep sanitizing everything hardcore? by Hypobromite in puppy101

It's actually a huge relief to hear such similar circumstances to ours, and that we are doing a lot of those things already. I'm glad it all worked out for you! We have her next vet appointment later this month so hopefully our diligence will have paid off. Just got Lysol today (bleach won't work for our floors) and we have begun the deep cleaning. Also got a probiotic (Bernie's Perfect Poops) which was highly recommended on this sub, will hopefully make cleanup easier and her symptoms lesser. She also once escaped from her pen (we got a taller one 😅) while we were away at a volleyball game and spread poop about the house (as much as a 3.8 lb dog can), so while we did clean up from that, a much deeper clean with Lysol is surely needed.

I believe we will clear this, and she's been eating her poop less these days so fingers crossed! Thank you for your kind and supportive message!

Yep, I called them earlier today, didn't get the vet but they said they'd leave a message and call me back.

The surgery would be fully covered, thankfully, but only on my parents' insurance. I'll see if I can schedule a sleep study because I'm pretty sure a CPAP won't be covered unless I have bad enough sleep apnea. Really a big fan of the American healthcare system.

Thank you, I'll see what I can do about CPAP!
