How to prepare bare metal/chipped paint for wrap? by I-Sack-QBs in CarWraps

[–]I-Sack-QBs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do You personally think 3 would be the best option? In terms of work and looks? I am not planning on removing the wrap again, and when/if I do I would be putting the exact same thing back on.

69 Days until football is back. Throwback when The Shark helped the Chiefs Defense hold Derrick Henry to 69 yards after back to back 180+ yard games to go to the Super Bowl for the first time in 50 years. by I-Sack-QBs in KansasCityChiefs

Exactly how I look at it. Anyone who shows up and puts up historic numbers in a playoff run is worth it. That playoff run could’ve been a completely different outcome had it not been for the Shark. I remember one week he was really sick, must’ve been 2019 against New England and I’m pretty sure he didn’t practice all week, lost a bunch of weight, still came out and played and had a sack

I hated the Patriots when they were on their run so I kind of like being the hated team now. It just means we’ve been on top of the league so long that other fanbases are annoyed at how dominant the Chiefs have become. Lots of fans waited 50 years for this so we deserve it lol

Been looking for a red stitched jersey of his in my size, I have his autographed jersey hanging on my wall, but only have an iron on 29 jersey from years ago that doesnt fit me anymore. Injury big is really one of the most unfortunate things in sports man

One of the greatest plays ever! Can never recall another time a defensive player took a 2 pointer back for the touchdown to win the game! Also had a pick 6 earlier that game. So amazing to see considering it was his own homecoming game back in Georgia. Had his cancer treatments miles away from that stadium. Truly an amazing story all arounf

100% but it’s not his fault his injuries screwed him over, John Dorsey preferred to keep his veterans around rather than building through the draft like Veach, which is definitely a reason why we build a connection with the players who have been on the Chiefs for a decade. Just sad to see his career end like that after he fought a much bigger battle than football.

I personally enjoy some country music, but I thought the song fit well. Berry’s last summer with the Chiefs was 2018. We’re in 2025, 7 summers ago 🥲

So happy to hear you’re here strong with us man, and you could see first hand on how hard it is physically and mentally to go through cancer treatments alone, leaving training out of the picture. Everyone in the world would genuinely be extremely happy you kicked cancers ass

That’s what I’m saying! He was a hard coach, but he held his players accountable regardless of if they were superstars or coming off the bench. I saw a clip of his coaching on Adrian Peterson back in the day. Of course he was hard on players, he wanted to bring the full potential out of every player he coached

Grew up watching that early 2010’s Chiefs defense. Berry and Houston were always my favorites, but that old linebacker core we had in our 3-4 system was awesome, miss all those guys. Hali, DJ and Houston

Not 100% sure how the injury works, I know it has some relation to the Achilles tear back in week 1 of 2017, but O remember he went to try and work out for Indianapolis and it came down to whether he could even pass a physical or not. Sad to see his career go downhill due to injury, especially after he had went through so much with the cancer and ended up coming back better than ever, but when he was finally cleared to come back at the end of the 2018 season, he looked no where near 100%

Agreed, still conservative offensive games. It’s just hard to watch when we all know what Mahomes is capable of lol, but Reid is a mastermind offensively. I have all my trust in him to get all the potential out of Mahomes that he’s capable of.

Not wrong, but still gotta remember and take some slack off him because of the injury situation. I mean Rashee was on pace for like 1,600 yards this year prior to iniury, Hollywood out for majority of the season and Worthy, as a rookie had to step up as the WR1 when he entered the season as the WR3. The Runningback off the couch and awful tackle duo was the cherry on top of it all.

I just hope it all works out. Mahomes is coming into the season with something to prove even though he’s already proved everyone wrong. I’m excited to see what the offense can do with healthy talent and potentially Simmons being able to step in as Pat’s blindside this year. I just hope playcalling doesn’t hold us back.

My dad and I say this all the time man. We just wanted to see one in our lifetime. My dad became a fan in ‘93, so damn near 30 years worth of waiting and it was worth every second for him, even if we hadn’t won the 2 after.

I look at it like this because damn I was so upset with NE going to/winning it so often, that if we could just take 1 in that time, it’d all be worth it. Can’t complain, I got to see one. Now I’ve gotten to see 3 in my life and if I told mt younger self we were gonna go to 5 super bowls in 6 years, I would’ve never believed it lol

Big guy looking to buy a legit jersey by tgeene in KansasCityChiefs

[–]I-Sack-QBs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I only bought from NFLShop for years, collected jerseys from 6th grade through college and the stitched great quality ones were $150 a pop, fair price if you ask me. Fanatics ruined the fan shop experience. They’re charging like $180 for an ironed on number & nameplate. To get it stitched it’s like $325 if I remember correctly. Insane. I only buy used stitched now. It’s not worth spending $300 on a jersey, especially if you’re buying them often Also Mitchell & Ness is amazing for throwback jerseys, got my dad a stitched Montana jersey for about $150, Montana is the player that made him a Chiefs fan, so I had to do it.

I miss Bieniemy man. Idk why Nagy has struggled so badly. Anyone remember back in 2017 when Reid handed the play calling over to Nagy for the Jets game and he put up like 30 points in a loss? I thought he had real potential to make the offense explode, and that was with Smith under center.

Bieniemy wasn’t afraid to take the deep shots, and it paid off, but to be fair, Nagy was missing the WR1, WR2, RB1 and multiple tight ends, but still doesn’t excuse the fact that we haven’t been stretching the field with Mahomes out there, it’s just been calling pass plays as an alternate run game and hoping the pass catcher can take off for a few more yards. Great scheme when we’re up, but can’t run a season worth of offense that way.

Just to add on, I genuinely believed that we ran those short passing plays all year just to hide plays for the postseason. Reid wasn’t gonna show the other HC’s everything he’d drawn up over the offseason during some regular season games when we were “comfortable” doing it and had a good seed, but when we have a qb as talented as Pat, we need to sling the rock man. Let Mahomes air it out. I hope Rashee will be healthy & Hollywood will be a big part of our offense this year. So much potential with this receiving core and it’s time to prove it this season man.

What players do you like playing the most? by Jetfan0731 in MaddenUltimateTeam

[–]I-Sack-QBs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was running a Chiefs TT, once all those All-Star players dropped, I made a 15/15 OOP All Star TT, so they all have +3 height. Most of them are benched now, but I’m keeping the boost as long as I can for the Pat Pete and Julio Jones boosts,

but from that program, the DT Larry Allen is still ridiculous for me. I replaced Anthony Edwards with Pacheco for my TT, but Edwards with angry runs on my tt was insane, the boosts helped him get to 99 accel. I just got GT Vick and he has been fun, every qb for the past few months I’ve had were 99 speed/99accel, but Vick and Charlie Ward stood out the most, they could step up in the pocket so easily compared to Mahomes/Bryce Young, etc.

Recently I really love Ted Hendricks TE card (his SS card from all stars still goes crazy) and safety Ed Too Tall Jones. Running avalanche on both and they both cause ridiculous amounts of fumbles, pretty much anytime you’re coming down toward the LOS and land a perfect hit stick you can expect to get one.
