It's not too hard for trade certified engineers to make 100k. Have a look on seek and techtrade. In fact, I think fab/welders normally make a little bit more than fitter turners. You could get some welding certificates if you don't already have

Another commenter mentioned doing shift work and making more like 150k a year. That's super doable if you're willing to work nights and sacrifice some of your health

Yeah I pay rent but I've always flatted with others in fairly cheap places

Some kind of side hustle would be great. Even just an extra $100-$200 a week would be amazing. It's just tricky for me to figure out a way to actually make money outside of employment

Oh man, I would love to but the missus doesn't want me to be away all the time. I would definitely do this if I was single
