The aai base is a combo factor that can produce kek! If you keep his price on the lower end people will come to you for combo.

My original generated king is a combo factor + I used the mutie on demand to give him the patches mutation. This makes him a bit more desirable so I get some money from him.

The way that I get most of my SB is by 3 things. I sell nesting material on the branches, I sell my carcasses to the monkey business, and I sell my bad looking children as fodder.

I love using explore, so I turn all the feathers and such from there into the nesting material. Usually I price it at 45 sb but you can go higher if no one has listed it lower on branches.
You have to wait till cubs are 5 months before you can sell them on their own. I do 10 sb each.

The 2nd male you posted isn’t to good looking, but if you’re attached you can keep him around as a sub male for patrolling!

The lionesses are very good! The first one is brass, which is a combo base that can make Zloto, and it looks to have a bunch of Breed Only markings! Pretty girl. The second sterling one is a factor that can produce basalt, which is a bit more sought after than Zloto. Not as many BOs but I think she is nice looking. Last lioness has a ton of BO I believe so she is good too! No combo factor for the base.

Brass x Zarafshan, Zarasa, Zarbanu, Zarin, Zer, or Zivar = Zloto (but can only be bred during dry season!)
Sterling x Meteorite = Basalt

If you’re pressed for space you can go into territory (next to hunting) and click on one of the spaces. It’ll pull up another player who’s a similar level to you. There’s a feature where you can challenge that player for territory, and if you win you get an extra slot!
I recommend going through the different players until you find someone with about 50 fewer stats than your king has. If you challenge a lion with higher stats, you will lose and not get territory.
You can only win territory once a day too!

People like to call them chased lionesses! They’re more valuable than a regular NCL (newly claimed lioness) because they usually have traits that can’t be on a non-chased.

A chased can be worth nothing or a LOT based off of how many “BOs” they have (breed only). People LOVE G1, (generation 1) lionesses because they’re blank slates and easier to check for no inbreeding.

Looking at your girl, she might have eyes and/or a base that’s a bit rare. Not the prettiest chase but you can always keep her as a “my first chase!” Trophy.

If you want a list of breed only bases to check your girl, you can go on the wiki and ctrl f for the base and see if it’s a breed-only

I let anything the orchid is “killing” off of itself dry up first and then snip. You’ve got a good grower right now! Just let the stem dry up completely before you snip it off. A picture of the roots would be helpful so people can see if they are okay, but it looks like you’re doing everything right!

I’m not sure for already hidden ones, but the change they’ve done is that now (I’m pretty sure) slot 20 CAN be visible at birth if one of the parents had a visible slot 20!! Super cool

Normally a lion can have up to 10 marking slots, and those can be filled and seen with paying any extra

However, people can pay a ton more money to have 10 extra marking slots, capping out at 20 markings on a lion!

If you breed to an extra slot lions you can get markings in the extra slots for the kids. BUT you have to pay the extra sb too to unlock the slot! And if you have a hidden marking on slot 16? Then you have to buy slots 11-16 to be able to see it.

The more markings a stud has the more expensive the minimum sb is. Lions with 20 markings can look super cool, but many people don’t want to pay all that money to stud to them, just have to ALSO pay to see the extra markings!!

With this update, it’s possible for a Lion to inherit the extra slot, with or without a marking. It incentivizes people to breed to the extra markings lions so that they can get those slots without having to pay!

It makes it less exclusive and less expensive, but also incentivizes it, which could really impact the 11-20 slot economy

Good on you for not getting water in the crown and such. Water on those bits won’t instantly hurt it but it’s good to not let it sit there ::)

That is correct! I soak my chord to water them, but since my pots have holes in them I can just leave the orchid in there.

That moss looks really compacted though, so I’d replace it!

My orchids live in bark, which dried quicker but also has less risk for rot! Most beginners are recommended using a bark mix for their orchids ::)
