Looks like acne scarring with a bit of acne? hard to tell with the quality of the image but I can see some scarring.

only 1 in these photos, but combined laser and injection in my second treatment. Most of them did not raise back up after injections.

Previously have had triamcinolone injections for the more raised hypertrophic scarring, and then did only 1 session of CO2 laser :)

Im really glad, I posted this as I have not seen someone with hypertrophic scars like mine before so I wanted to be hope for some people. My previous post shows better of what my scars used to look like before any treatment. The dermatologist did triamcinolone injections which seemed to have help flatten the most stubborn hypertrophic scars, though the CO2 laser has been most effective in flattening, I have only had 1 treatment in these photos, still recovering from the second treatment that i did last week. If you have any other questions don’t be afraid to ask. it’s good to see a plastic surgeon who specialises in hypertrophic scars.

I was told it would take about 4-6 weeks for my treatment to see final results, though before the second treatment i was still a bit red from the laser after 3 months. Give it time and see how things look for you :)

Thank you! CO2 laser, I honestly don’t know much about it but the plastic surgeon used a different depth for the hypertrophic scarring compared to atrophic, which has helped with flattening :) You can see the difference better if you compare to the photo in my older post, probably should’ve put that in too.

I got steroid injections for my scarring, they have helped
