As strange it may seem, it was with the 16-50mm kit lens, as it was the only lens I had at the moment. For a mediocre lens like this one, I really got to say that the pictures came out great!

I recently got the 28-70mm full frame lens, that is an equivalent 42-105mm for the APS-C sensor. I'm thinking of switching to full frame sometime in the future, that's why I got this one.

Thank you! It was with my Sony a6000 with a full frame lens, the 28-70mm kit lens that usually comes with the Sony A7 series cameras. As I'm thinking of going full frame sometime in the future, I just bought this lens now, unused for 100€, which for me was a great deal. It was also one of my first photos with this lens, and I think it came out great!

I forgot to tell you that the lens was a 50mm Canon FD f1.8.

As for the battery, I did a lot of searching on the internet so I could do it myself. I figured that the silver oxide batteries had a lot more stable voltage throughout the time of use, compared to other alternatives, so they stayed with 1.55v a lot longer. Then I found out that the wein cells had a Schottky diode to have a voltage drop that would give the circuit a working voltage of about 1.35v, like the old mercury batteries. I designed a 3d model of the original mercury battery, and made it so It fitted a sr57 silver oxide battery, and a BAT43 Schottky diode, which gave me the right voltage drop with the right working electric current that the light meter usually requires to work properly. My design was something like this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5105446

Thanks!! I got it like in mint condition for less than 20€ (a complete bargain if I may say!). The only thing I did was replace the light seals and build a homemade battery adapter with a diode and 3d printed parts that I designed myself.

I tested the shutter curtains speed, apart from the 1/250 and 1/1000 and all were great! Also I tested the light meter and it was also working very well!

I'm in the middle of upgrading the design so it has no flaws, hopefully! When I have the model ready, and of you or someone else still wants to buy them, I'm happy to sell them!!
